I love Damasko, Sinn, and Fortis. The best damn watches for real watch people, not made for those with low self-esteem.

Absolutely love Damasko. I see someone wearing one and I always want to hear what their opinion is on watches. You're average bloke/joe doesn't simply go out and buy one at the mall.

Perfect list of brands..... Sinn 103 ST SA, Damasko DC66, Fortis B42 Cosmonaut Chronograph, Gavox Squadron, Marathon CSAR, Omega Speedmaster are the only watches that look like tool watches.

Ye I bought a DA46 last year, by far my favourite watch absolutely love it, just feels so damn good on my wrist

The 1 to 12 bezel has so many uses. You can line it to the hour hand to track hours. Use it as a duel time zone or use it as a month calendar.

Great review bud! Damasko is next on the list now that a Sinn 103 Acrylic is secured. Really good bang for the buck with Damasko and Sinn. As mentioned, Fortis is also a great bang for buck watch. I just received an F-43 Flieger last week and it's really sweet.

surprised at the lack of respect for Damasko... they are excellent watches at great prices for what you get. i own a da36 and love it.

how is it holding up today. have they scratched? am looking between sinn and damasko, which is more scratch resistant
@fuckinmetal19823 жыл бұрын
@@eo6255 i wear it everyday and sleep with it on. The case looks brand new and has no scratches, its unbelievable. The crystal has scratches but the case has nothing.

Nice to see youre back but please could you do some cheaper watches? Maybe seikos and orients?

Nice review vid! recently i bought exactly the same model. I like 12hr rotating bezel as second time zone setting. it will enable to check the relationship between 2 time zones in the future very easily. also, it can set 3.5hr time zone difference. (for examples, india) one interesting point i noticed is what you mentioned at 10:25. actually, damasko logo was shifted to lower side a little now!

Thanks for the review. I think a German watch is in the plans for this year👍

Hi, great review and love the watch, im thinking of buying one but am a little concerned about the 44mm and 14mm height. I have a 7 inch wrist like you, can i ask how did you find it in the longer term, did you think it was ok size wise and is the watch still going strong? Many thanks

Just wondering: are you sure they are magnetic in themselves? Because physic says that if you hold a magnet close to any substantual chunk of metal it will interfere with the compasses capability to work properly. So hold your compass next to a hammer, and it will not point the way you are used to. (without the hammer beiing magnetic itself) I noticed that with steel helmets long ago ;-)

Can anyone who owns this Damasko (or any other Damasko chronograph) tell me at what time exactly the day/date changes over?

Nice review however the camera angle of the dial dominates the video... would have been nice to give different angles more air time.. thanks for the review!

I am really impressed by the quality and durability of Damasko watches. If you like watches with a purpose, you can't go wrong with this company. I have the DSub 1 and I am very happy with my investment.

I was thinking about getting one....until I found a victorinox chrono with the same movement for one third the price of the damasko

I wish this watch is in quartz solar. I have checked citizen for chronograph. The function is nice but the aesthetic is terrible

Only 100M water resistance is a deal breaker at this price point. The Sinn EZM 13 for similar money is 500M. Water resistance, at least 200M is a very useful bit of technology.
@NathanChisholm0415 жыл бұрын
Their pilots watches not divers! If you want a diver get one
@kopite1892ynwa5 жыл бұрын
Nathan Chisholm Exactly, the 100m water resistance is just a nice little bonus, 100% fine in the pool on holiday etc 👏🏻👍🏻

How often are you going more than 300 feet deep? Most recreational diving is done less than 100 feet deep...

Sinn 757 ($2430) vs Damasko DC66 ($1970)!!! Which would you prefer? Both are German chronographs with hardened steel (harder than 316L)
@wornandwound6 жыл бұрын
In that fight, I'd personally go with the dc66, largely because I prefer the bezeless 756 range over the 757. -Ilya
@shipmate35776 жыл бұрын
Did you know that Damasko used to make the hardened cases for Sinn until 2002?
@wornandwound6 жыл бұрын
Yeah. Sinn has their own case manufacturer now, SUG. SUG's made cases for numerous brands, including Lange.

About $2000 out of my price range. maybe throw in a budget watch every now and then.

Agreed, a budget or beginner watch series would be awesome
@rrpostalagain7 жыл бұрын
B T You can find these used at really good prices. Since they are so durable, they look good consistently. Seiko and Orient are my pick for reviews and watches to look for on an extreme budget that can still be good quality and watch cred.
