That's why I hated doing dishes when I worked at McDonald's. The cooks were so lazy that they would just drop the crumb and scrap-filled trays directly into the sink rather than dump the food into the trashcan first. It was utter madness! And then I would gag whenever I picked up a squishy piece of burger bun. Ugh SO gross 🤢

BREAD: Twist the end of the bag about an inch and then fold the remaining plastic backwards and around the bread. It keeps the bread fresher longer.

That's funny because how you close the bread actually can help keep it longer. If air gets in the bread goes stale faster. I usually press all the air out and then tie it. Bread lasts a few days longer, sometimes even well beyond the expiry date

Working in an office used to be horrific. People always leaving tea bags in the sink. The dirty mingers used to leave cups of left over tea/coffee or plates of food on their desks or on the side for so long they used to grow batches of penicillin. The spoons used to be covered in filth. These were grown people, I could just imagine the state of their homes!!?!? I'd be so annoyed for the cleaners because they shouldn't have to wear a hazmat outfit to clear the room! I would always refuse when some joker would offer me tea/coffee and if I were the last one in the office I would swipe the fungi cups/plates into the bin. No remorse.

Both my mother and sister leave bags open, talking cereal, bread and sugar. They also leave open half eaten cans(beans, tuna, sweetcorn...) in the fridge and tea bags in the sink and my mum goes through around 10 cups a day so there's always a few tea bags in the sink. It's vile.

As a chef I have a lot of these I hateeeeee when there’s dirty dishes in the dishwasher but people still leave their dirty dishes on the counter🙃 Or when people start taking bits and pieces from their food before it’s out the kitchen.
