Because after all these years VR still hasn’t fixed that whole major movement problem: why am I still a paraplegic playing these games? I still have to use my hands in some way to walk or teleport? If you can’t fix that, it won’t be superior to keyboard based movement.

Some people have better motion sickness resistance than others so they can handle stuff like that. I know this because when I was young I spun in circles constantly and very quickly I became immune to getting dizzy. Even now I can handle VR with no motion sickness when the rest of my family gets sick in like 30 second without a blinder.

I burn CDs because I pirate PS1 and 2. And at least I KNOW what a CD is and I'm gen Z. It's still a thing, just not nearly as popular and sort of became irrelevant once you could download an infinite amount of music off the web.

I wouldn't really say so, developing a VR game is a lot more resource intensive than a PC game so triple A studios have a big edge over indie on this part

the quest hardware is not exceptional, its literally a mobile chip and is supposed to run full scale VR games (something which is more graphically intense then flatscreen) hence why they look like shit mobile games. But as you highlighted the game selection of the quest is not that good and that is mostly due to its hardware limitations and while a lot of people point out that the switch is also limited in its hardware, its not lacking on games due to Nintendo carrying the weight of the first party exclusives.

BnS nomad will be decent once mods are thoroughly implement. Also the walking dead game is pretty great even with the graphical downgrades.

The Quest performance is actually abyssmal. When the devs make the games for it and PC and PSVR at the same time they have to actively castrate the game or it will run like shit. Keep in mind also that the fps drops are absolutely more painful than the normal games and can lead to you actually feeling sick.
