I am doing compounded tirzepitide and injected 7.5 in the back of my arm last week and had the Worst depression ever!! I couldn’t believe it! I backed off on my dosage this week and used my thigh this week and have had no side effects. This is amazing to me. I can’t believe the location can make such a difference!!

Hey❤ I think that’s great advice about the rotation, because it has made a huge difference for me! I titrated fairly slowly, but I wonder if I could’ve gone even slower if I wouldn’t have been scared to move my injection site. I also wonder how much more I would have lost if I would have moved the injection site around more. Don’t get me wrong, I am grateful for the 70 pounds but I am definitely curious because I just started injecting in my arm a couple of months ago! I’ve only done my thigh once or twice but I tend to stick to my stomach or arm. Hope you guys are well.💜⚜️💚💐

Wow! I've been doing thigh and stomach rotating. But adding arm with help this week! Stomach I have more symptoms, thigh I have no symptoms. Will see what the arm does! I am trying to stick on the 7.5mg, I have 3 more injections. I am taking weekly super lipo c injections either the day before or on dose day and that helps tremendously!! And I get at least 30g protein in with electrolytes and water! 🌼 🌸 🌻 🌹

🌻 As always, thank you for this video. Today I went for a 1.4 mile walk with my husband. This may seem like a silly question, but why do we need to rotate injection sites at all? I've never heard the basic reasoning for this. I know there must be a reason, but if some injection sites cause more adverse side effects than others, why can't those sites be avoided altogether? I'd love to understand this. Thank you!

I did my stomach for the first 3 weeks with mild side effects. Then I tried behind my arm and I had horrible constipation, and had a big appetite that week, so I gained weight that week, so I’m back to the stomach. Maybe I’ll try my thigh this week. Question When you rotate and find certain injections sites are not as effective do you continue to keep that site in rotation? Or do you eliminate it?

🌻 I’m just like you - I’ve been scared to do thigh or arm! So I have been doing L upper belly, R upper belly, L low belly, R low belly. I want to go for the thigh and arm but want to make sure I’m doing the right spot and have trouble finding info. Such as, do you squeeze the fat in your thigh and arm? Inner thigh? Outer thigh? Or front of thigh? Upper thigh? Why are these other locations so intimidating?? Any help on inner/outer thigh location welcome!!

Great video as always. I'm in an endless stall.☹ I switched from OZ to MJ due to Allodynia skin sensitivity (I was on 1.0 dose OZ) . My Dr. started me at 2.5 on MJ. I did one box of 2.5 and just took my 4th injection of 5.0 last Tuesday. My last A1C is was 5.5 but the weight loss has stalled, crickets the entire time I've been on MJ and I've been rotating injection sights. I'm not gaining weight but not loosing either. It's so discouraging and I still have another 2 months worth of 5.0 in the fridge. I'm hoping I see some weight loss when I get up to 7.5.🙏 Any suggestions?

Some Qs: Did you lose weight on 1mg Ozempic? Do you have T2D? Do you have low-thyroid, or PCOS? Asked because, 1) While on average ppl usually see better results on Tirzepatide (Mounjaro/Zepbound) than on Semaglutide (Ozempic/Wegovy), there are a few ppl who do do better on Sema than on Tirz. 5mg Mounjaro is more potent than 1mg Ozempic, so (aside from an initial first couple of weeks where weight-loss can sometimes be easy due to dietary changes- less carbs and salty foods, so the excess water weight flushes out), if Oz is consistently outperforming MJ for you, you could be one of those ppl. 2) And, more likely IMO… ppl with certain metabolic issues, such as T2D, PCOS, low-thyroid, etc, often DO need higher doses in order to lose weight. Then there are ppl who are just metabolically disregulated from decades of weight-cycling/yo-yo dieting. That can be just as bad for results as the more clearly-defined metabolic conditions. And even absent any of those things, some ppl are just natural ‘low-responders’ to such meds as these. Have heard plenty of all of the above such folks say that they didn’t start losing ‘til the 7.5 or even 10(!!) dose level. It happens. Don’t feel too badly, you can still lose, it just might be harder and require those kinds of doses. It’s a talk to have with your doc if it persists. Of course, it also pays to assess your lifestyle and see if that could be holding you back any. It IS still possible for some ppl to overeat on low doses of these meds, and to eat the wrong kinds of foods. Also, you really need to emphasize protein in your food intake, if you’re not already. It really helps with satiety, and it’s almost impossible to overeat on protein (while with carbs it’s easy to do so). A real lack of physical activity is unhelpful as well, though many ppl don’t have much of a choice in this, due to illness or injury or both. Best of luck in your journey. 👍

I have a question if someone can answer me I have been on moujaro for almost 5 months I have been injecting on my stomach only, but the last three weeks I stard feeling so bad etchings on the side where I inject and I stard feel my appetite comes back and my blood sugar starts to go up specific this week. The clinical trials are telling...BUT so many new trials coming and in process that may be the wave of the future? For now, I'm sticking with how company designed it to be
