You could use white embossing powder to give a puffy look for snow when making Christmas cards - lovely technique thank you.

What a great idea for puffy embossing and a lovely card at the end . TBH the most impressive thing for me is that you are brave enough to use the hot glue gun to adhere tiny pearls . I can use my glue gun to do anything without burning myself let alone something that small . Lol .thank you for sharing your talents x

Interesting! I totally expected it to look really shiny, but I guess the embossing powder does something to the glue so it doesnt. Just perfect texture for walls, bricks or stones! Love from 🇫🇮

Oh wow! A definite game changer. I've only got 1 expanding mousse but loads of embossing powder colours. I could achieve a similar effect now in different colours. Thanks for this. 😍

Hi Heidi, I’m so sorry for such a delay in responding, thank you so much for watching video, just seen the comment. The leaves were cut from green paper using die, but I like to add a ton of tiny splashes in different shades of green and white using a tiny brush. This to me makes them look more natural and interesting. Hope this helped. Have a wonderful day ❤

I'm using cheap PVA glue, it doesn't really matter as lond as it is drying clear, sending you hugs and wishing you a lovely day my friend ❤️❤️

I've never seen this technique before. I really like the raised texture, especially with the brick. In my opinion, it looks much better than the first card with regular ink stenciling. The first card looks so "flat" (in more than one way)! I'm going to ASSUME the glue is still wet (somewhat) under the heat embossed powder or is it really dry enough it's ready to be placed in an envelope and mailed? TFS!

Hi Lynne, apologies for late responce, no the embossing powder is melting together with the glue, but you have to use the heating tool, as without it the glue wont puff. Thank you so much for watching my videos, sending you hugs and wishing you a wonderful day ❤

@@dropofsunshine no, i think you misunderstand me or maybes its the wrong words I used. I mean if left for a period of time still in pot does the ink dry out and the powder turn bad, a bit like nuvo drops go thick. If this makes any sense to u? Your videos are great watch hugs to u too x

Yes, I’ve tried my embossing powers from different companies and they all worked well. The only thing is that once they heat set mixed with glue they are a bit less shiny then normally. Hope this helps. Thank you so much for watching my videos and wishing you a lovely day ❤️

What was the mixture in the glue bottle that you mixed with the powder? Is that just school grade glue?

Thank you so much Maddie, I’m using regular PVA glue, this are available in many stores and supermarkets, just check if it says “dries clear”. Any adhesive which dires clear should work for this technique, but some May chance a colours a bit once you use heat tool, so good to check on just a small piece of scrap paper before adding to your project. If they are long then many viewers is skipping till end which is affecting the overall algorithm, I will keep it in mind and I will try to slow down a bit on the parts I’m explaining some bits.
