I love florida, dont matter to be about the political views B.S. i just love the state, its people in general and moreover the beauty , which comes with its location, its nature, its weather and its universal design and style. And it saddens me that its all really coming to an end. With sea level rise what currently is, can no longer be. Enjoy these remaining years of living on the coast, or having access as such to the beaches, because its all either going to be gone, or man will be forced to change it, if possible. Sea level rise will eliminate 90% of florida if nothting is done, more over if no major engineering projects dont begin NOW!!. There is no stopping the switch thats been flipped on the polar caps. we see it world wide , global warming rising ocean temps, killing great reefs, trillions of sea life, and the water flowing from the caps is not simply a case of just melt water, but the sheer force of the water draining from the caps, is liken to high pressure water drilling. the literal friction from the water flow is slicing away huge city size chunks of ice. Their is no stopping this, especially while the planet remains too warm. And its rate of metl increases overtime. place an ice cube on your counter top, how do you stop its melt?, now take that example and apply it at a global scale. Florida is more than vulnerable state with majority of its cities and residents living smack dab at sea level. The very attraction to the state being its access to ocean. the best man could do to save florida is to raise the land. much in the same order as those man made islands in Dubai. but we're not talking about a few thousand yards of land. we are talking about the very circumference of a state. to dredge from about 40 to 50 feet below sea level, and to build up to no less than 40 feet above sea level. A wall a massive Great dike wall of florida surrounding the state, much like what was envisioned in blade runner 2049, holding the water off from los angeles. and such a project would never see the light of day. What does this mean. florida's wildlife.. gone. native species, gone, residents, gone, businesses, gone, foods. gone. and with all thats gone so will demand drive prices up, florida oranges, now sourced from brazil. some nations will benefit in the short term, others will crumble. but for whats to come. chaos. And you need to be preparing NOW.

The current rate of sea level rise is about 3/4 inch per century and decreasing. Do you think that will affect you?
@xevious2501

@@johnellerman1 the so called math says one thing, but the facts are evident in REALITY. in the mid 90's i remember areas that mildly flooded after hard down pours, today those same areas destroys peoples cars with a near foot or more of flood build up. The city is in dire straights because their pumping system cannot get water out fast enough. what you fail to realize is that , that 3/4 inch increase vastly multiplies when compiled into a single area. its the same calculations that are done with snow fall.. An inch of snowfall.. you say.. pff whats an inch!? only to find yourself knee deep in snow. its not about even layering but rather where it builds up and accumulates. the same issue with hurricanes, and all forms of weather, the numbers are always very tiny but the effects are far more vast.

@@johnellerman1 In the last decade, the speed at which Florida's sea level is rising has increased and is now rising by as much as 1 inch every 3 years. Around Miami, it took around 31 years for the sea level to rise by 6 inches. Scientists now forecast that in just the next 15 years, the sea level will have risen by another 6 inches.

@@herwigstoeckl1448 It is more likely that the gauge that does the measuring is sinking! Sydney's is connected to Florida via the ocean and it can't be rising there without also rising in Sydney. The scientists who are reporting that surely know that and it is just not possible unless Sydney is rising out of the ocean, which it isn't because Australia is a very stable land mass, unlike areas in the US, which are subject to a lot of movement.

Well, all the High tower Condos being built on Miami Beach, that requires more fresh water, for live in residents; this will cause higher tide rise in the salt sea level concentration intrusion, introducing salt water more inner onto dry land eventually causing a break-down to inner & outer surrounding structures. And when the sea-level rises, due to climate changes causing flooding, the situation worsens as the foundation of the ground surface weakens, and sinks. In this situation, how can a 12-30 ft or even higher concrete-condo building stand, weighing tons of pounds; without crushing into a flat surface when the ground has weakened ? I'm concerned about the sad tragedy incident that occurred at Champlain Towers South (Condo), 8777 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, Fla thursday 6/24/2021 approximately 1:30 am in the morning to its residents where injuries and lost of lives occurred, & other people are still missing. Why are all those very expensive Condo's are steadily being built, near the coastal edges of South Florida where sea levels are rising causing depleting changes in the landscape surfaces, where the land is being washed away descending below the water surfaces ? Is this Engineering of all phases, is this American Greed, what is it when tall buildings are being structured, made on sinking sand & crashes, and they are lives to be saved ? I pray for the families. the lives. that were injured, and lost. Dorothy

It’s already too late…. The entire sub strata of south Florida is coral rock, essentially rock that’s like a sponge, filled with holes, so no matter what you do, the water is going to come up through the ground, and there is nothing you can do about it. We could have done something if they listened to the science decades ago, but instead they ignored it, and now witness the results, and this is only the beginning. Yes I am in Toronto, but I have dozens of friends that lived in South Florida, that had to abandon their properties, because they were underwater. Within the period of only one year, the city told them it was too late and there was nothing that could be done to save their homes, luckily their insurance covered it, but that’s not going to go on for very much longer. Insurance companies are going to stop excepting claims when people keep losing their houses because of the flooding. It’s estimated Florida is going to lose over $2 billion in real estate by the year 2050, and there is no ocean wall that you can build to stop the water, because like I said, it’s coming up through the ground. If I were you I would get out while I still could, and if you’re lucky, sell your property to somebody who will buy it, before nobody will once it’s underwater.😰

This is a huge issue. A lot of people flock to Florida to reap the benefits of the sunshine and lifestyle but forget that they are contributing to its demise. Carbon emissions, burning of fossil fuels, and lack of proper care for our climate is causing this. When insurance companies refuse to underwrite certain parts of Florida then people will wake up and realize they are on their own. Nobody wants to take action until the damage is already done. Its not a cheap solution, and it is not a quick solution but we need to start today. Not in 10-15 years when Miami is underwater. We seen what happened with surfside. We can say that it was a structural problem, but there was evidence of water in the basement, So I am pretty sure sea level rise has something to do with that condo collapse as well.

Edgar Casey spoke and wrote about specific locations expected to experience earth changes way back in the 30s and most people were conditioned to believe he was a nutty "fortune teller who only the "New Agers" believed. I owned most of his books. What those in control of Politics did was to use their always ill gotten gains to line their pockets with specific land locations through the Years while keeping the populations apathetic and ignorant of everything we as a whole SHOULD HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF. Now they want to make place blame on Mankind for the changes and make us liable for the costly process of making these specific locations able to adjust to the inexorable changes, encouraging us to live in ever smaller homes and abodes while THEIR homes get larger and larger and to minimize our wants and needs, while their own greed rises to an all time in the history of Mankind HIGH.

It is always baffling in the UK seeing in the US housing built on beaches where the average winter storm here would take them out. The problem is when you do get a storm it is a real humdinger beyond anything we see so this long period between events lulls everyone in to a false sense of security. I suppose the problem is the natural short term view of business which is shorter than the hurricane hit period for any particular place. If that water is salt water the cars in these shots must be in a bad way in no time at all. I avoid getting my mild steel car anywhere near salt and even avoid using a tidal causeway near us.

Thanks for the courage to broadcast this video. It is pointing out three things. Culture is being decimated in the name of wealthier Florida citizen's or outside investors purchasing land at alarming rates. These investors are then holding on to the land, till its value goes up so they can sell it at a higher price. In the meantime they are trying to reduce their holding costs by raising rents on working class people at rates that exceed the rise in the cost of living and inflation. The sociological cost of doing this is unfathomable. It is actively destroying a culture, a living breathing historical context to the past recognized as Little Havana, Haiti and Overton. The video is stating that if we can make investments in new day construction utilzing techniquest that take into account rising seal levels we can save these aforementioned neighnborhoods.

At the end of the day its a get rich while you can because you will lose everything to climate change in the very near future and in doing so it does not matter how many lives are displaced, some in a very bad way to the ones that wants to make the money now.

I have thought for many years that all the activity going on (by GOVERNMENT AND THOSE WHO ARE PROFANELY WEALTHY) , at the poles had to have an impact eventually. in bringing on the melting process. Yet no one is mentioning this as a cause so that the activities can be curtailed or stopped altogether to give the planet time to recover from the activities and the gigantic earth moving equipment digging deep into the ice for the permanent dwellings which have been erected there at the poles. The media rarely mentions (if ever) that it is industry that pollutes our streams, rivers and sea the most, not those who smoke and toss their butts on the grass as they would have us believe. So now there is a panic? the concern should have begun at least 200 years ago! The Indian nations the Easterners found here were very respectful of the land and treated it like the precious gift it was to mankind. But those who came in droves on their large seagoing barges have run rough shod over everything in their path ; like a hoard of locusts, their central banking cartels funding all industry and development of technology, that began the atrocious disregard of everything and anything other than making x amount of returns on their investments. Yet I can see it now: we, who are mostly broke and struggling for our very existence from all the atrocities and "extractions" of our productivity and earthly resources are the ones who are expected to dig even deeper into our empty pockets just in case they find a dime or penny left there they haven't already taken. I mean the Eastern Establishment. Someone should expect them to melt some of their precious metals stock to use to fund some of the clean ups and disasters they have caused on the Planet before they scurry back to their own countries. like the rats they are. Why are comments so bland? Isn't anyone outraged at what has been done to our world by the few greedy creatures on the planet who hailed from the East and who have infected our own moral fiber? One of the first things they brought over was syphillis as a gift to the ndiginous people they found here. Doesn;t anyone making comments have any knowledge of History? I know I learned next to NOTHING about the true History of this nation in school and I know of no one who learned about History in college. Yet tuitions have gone straight up over the years for less than a comprehensive education. Most Americans cannot even identify the American Flag! So what in hell did they pay for? What effect does anyone think all those test bombs that went on in the 40s and 50s have on the stability of this Planet? Yet no one in the media has ever discussed this concern of mine. We already know that many near the test sites died early deaths from cancer. That is, those of us who READ! What effect is removing sand from the sea bed having on our planet? Anyone discussing this issue??????. What about fracking? What about the cellular damage done to Humanity by 5-G and 6 G for cell phones? What about our smart phones giving off microwaves and already the evidence is accumulating that all biological entities are being negatively effected by them.... Who is reporting this? And how consistently and effectively? But those dollars are being raked up by long handled rakes as I type! I'm ranting, many of you will say. Well keep your trinkets and never crack a book; stay with your heads buried in the sand-soon-to-be-ocean.....JUST PEEK OUT IN TIME TO CONTRIBUTE FINANCIALLY TO THE DISASTER THE SUPER WEALTHY RULING CLASS HAS CAUSED ON OUR PLANET. ...OR BUY A BOAT.

the step that should be taken to control rising seas and to cool the planet. the proposal is to have desalination plants spread offshore along the coasts. how far apart will depend on the measure of arctic ice melt and the capacity of the plants. the objective is to take water from the seas as fast as the artics melt. the plants are to be placed on floating platforms. the distance from the shoreline to be determined by environmental concerns over waste ejecting back into the sea. plants to be powered by solar and wind with excess power directed to the mainland. their construction will provide worldwide employment putting a giant dent in impoverishment. a third of our earth is desert. freshwater production will make them bloom. real food will be so abundant that starvation will be a thing of the past. farms will preserve the forest and mitigate carbon emissions. good example: freshwater farming will cool the sahara and northeast africa, bringing cooler air over the atlantic ocean mitigating hurricane seasons, and saving trillions in damage desalination extracts minerals that can be used for our benefit. the benefits seem endless. the main one being that all nations come together to fight our common enemy “pollution”

Then will men be awakened and become aware that religion (The Bahá’í’ Faith) is impregnable stronghold and the manifest light of the world, and its laws, exhortations and teachings the source of life on earth." (Shoghi Effendi-Compilations, Lights of Guidance, p. 126) BAHA’U’LLAH (The promised one of all ages) is the divine physician who diagnoses the world’s malady; for the whole planet is ill and needs the power of a great specialist. Writing to the sovereigns of the world, He summoned that the hour for unity had struck-unity between countries, unity between religions. In this period of its evolution, the world of humanity is in danger. Every war is against the good pleasure of the Lord of mankind, for man is the edifice of God and war destroys the divine edifice. If an active, actual peace is brought about, the human world will attain to the utmost serenity and composure; wolves will be transformed into lambs, devils into angels, and terrors into divine splendours in less than the twinkling of an eye. BAHA’U’LLAH’S teachings are the health of the world. They represent the spirit of this age, the light of this age, the well-being of this age, the soul of this cycle. The world will be at rest when they are put into practice, for they are reality. Abdu'l-Baha (The servant of God)), Divine Philosophy, p. 84] “According to the teaching of the Prophets, disease and all other forms of calamity are due to disobedience to the Divine Commands. Even disasters due to floods, hurricanes, and earthquakes are attributed by 'Abdu'l-Bahá indirectly to this cause. The suffering that follows error is not vindictive, however, but educative and remedial. It is God's Voice proclaiming to man that he has strayed from the right path. If the suffering is terrible, it is only because the danger of wrongdoing is more terrible, for "the wages of sin is death." Just as calamity is due to disobedience, so deliverance from calamity can be obtained only be obedience. There is no chance or uncertainty about the matter. Turning from God inevitably brings disaster, and turning to God as inevitably brings blessing.” [Dr. J.E. Esslemont, Bahá’u’lláh (The promised one) and the New Era, p. 95]

With all the known problems in Florida, the building just never slows down or stops. All these so called ''experts" can't see what's going on, or are they just turning away from the truth in this huge money grab. The greed just never stops until it's too late. So many experts in every field from engineers, architects, builders flapping their lips, yet keep on building and building and building on top of sinking land. No regard for human life, just profits.

Such absolute Nonsense. If Florida is affected than the Azores would be affected. I've been going to the island for 30+ years and there is no change in water height. The same area that we swam at in 81 is at the same level in 2022. Beach erosion and erosion in general can be caused by many things, Here in the Azores its volcanic rock. It doesn't wear away. Same in Cyprus where I visit occasionally, no change. one place is not going to see more water than another place. Not how it works.

The sea level has been creeping up for a while now because the globe has been warming up out of the little ice age. From the Weekend Australian Sunday, September 26, 2021... "AUSTRALIA is lucky to possess the high-quality, 128-year-long tide gauge record from Fort Denison (Sydney Harbour), which since 1886 indicates a long-term rate of sea-level rise of 0.65mm a year, or 6.5cm a century. . ..measurements at Sydney between 2005 and 2014 show the tide gauge site is sinking at a rate of 0.49mm/yr, leaving just 0.16mm/yr of the overall relative rise as representing global sea-level change. Indeed, the rate of rise at Fort Denison, and globally, has been decreasing for the past 50 years." So in 100 years, at the current rate, sea levels will rise about half an inch!!!!!!! I hope the people who made this video don't hear about Chicken Little!!! Why aren't people who propagate this BS called to account? All they do is prolong a corrupt narrative!

@markanthony3275

Bud...there's more North and South Pole ice than there was 80 years ago. For example, in the Canadian arctic in the 1940's an RCMP vessel called the St. Roch made a two way passage through the Canadian Arctic in one season...it had a wooden hull. Today if you tried that , you couldn't make a one way passage without an icebreaker. Don't believe all this nonsense about ice melting and ocean levels rising...more often than not , ocean side land is sinking for a variety of reasons, and if it isn't sinking, the shoreline is being eroded. Use your melon...why would south Florida be flooding from "rising ocean levels" but New York city has seen no change in levels for a hundred years?
