With Vince not around, I have the feeling they can make it right. It's ok to do some "occult" stuff, but this time they should not go all they way through it like they did with Bray, especially when it comes to the ring. Make it more of a cultish thing, keep the magic stuff on the low, make it more about a bunch of lost souls following a leader, acting in the darkness. Make it "feel" like there's something unnatural going on but don't flat out show it. Make it plausible at all time that these guys just act in the shadows and have people on the inside helping them, backstage crew, cameramen, production crew. And when it comes to the ring, make it about the numbers game. Don't have people "hypnotized" other people, don't have magical dolls. Just have the guy on the outside hit somebody with the mallet to help whoever is wrestling, or people spitting mist and that kind of stuff. Spooky, creepy, not magical. Like the original Wyatt Family was.

This might be hyperbole and recency bias- but I think this was one of the best wrestling segments all year- right next to the Cody and Rock segment where he was covered with blood. I think this segment alone has convinced me that the Wyatt 6 is actually a good idea. The fact that they went backstage and murdered practically everyone; Gunther, Braun, Triple H, Chad Gable, etc. The presentation and usage of blood has made me BELIEVE that this faction will work and I was heavily skeptical of this idea originally as I didn't fully believe in it's members or the potential storyline. But after this? There's so many different directions you can take this in. Chad Gable can now form a new faction with the Creed brothers, using the logic that he got caught out in the open by this new group- Braun or Gunther could be trying to get revenge after getting brutally attacked this week. Now even Money in the Bank is in question due to members being taken out, will they be able to compete?- this could even lead to consequences for Summerslam since they've already targeted Gunther now, who's to say they won't do it again? I'm very disappointed in Tempest's reaction- at the end of the day I understand it's his opinion and he's free to have it but it feels like he's already decided that he hates the idea and stubbornly refuses to change his mind even if all the potential storylines it forms. He's not taking a look at the overall view and realising that this could lead to so many different ideas. This segment makes Raw feel a lot more connected and stuff like that makes the show FEEL a lot more important as nobody is in their own little world. Now, anything can happen next week and for the first time in a while- I actually actively want to tune in next week JUST to watch how the storyline progresses, not just because I'm a wrestling fan.

Its corny and didn't work for me at all. They just sorta slapped it on the end of an otherwise fantastic Raw. And now all the other stars gonna just ignore it... ug its way too silly for what else is going on... like Bron had this fantastic night, and now hes gotta ignore this massive event that happened. Whos got time to acknowledge the whole production crew got murdered when you got Shamus to call out... its just beyond silly. Thankfully smackdown pretty much ignored it happened. They can save the Wyatt stuff but really weak start if you ask me.

@@whereta3097 "Thats just pro wrestling" is such a cop out. Wrestling isn't above criticism... Things can land or whiff. For a lot of people it didn't work. Having a random Halloween segment slapped on the end of an otherwise great Raw was eye rolling... Wasn't needed, didn't make sense, hasn't really been addressed since.. "Oh Chads dead" was the most common reaction and then hes comes back and ignored it happened. Thats just silly. If you like some silly stuff ok good for you but the rest of us can cringe. The Bo interview that came out later was much better. Actually something to bite into there. Would have made way more sense if that came out first. Some build up coulda have made the attacks much more believable.

The issue with the Wyattverse is that it's extremely hard to book. It's hard to fit into the wrestling card. You can't just slot the fiend into a tag team feud. It's, in a sense, the complete opposite of modern-day Drew McIntyre. Drew is so adaptable he fits anywhere in the roster, and has been able to reinvent his character to be a maineventer on the spot TWICE. For the Wyattverse though, he is his own place in the card, and you need to plan AROUND him and AROUND that. He has his mystique and it demands a LOT of effort to have it deliver. It's why Karrion Kross has been failing for quite some time. He NEEDS to be in the main event role with everyone buying into his mystique, he cant just be another act on the show. Hopefully, Bo can avoid that!

My thoughts are that they will go between raw and smackdown like an entity, they’re whole thing is being a family of ones who were betrayed. They may just cause havoc to anyone who’s betrayed or turned their backs on their teams. Which means they could have a BUNCH of stories lined up.

I don't think it is that hard tbh. They gotta keep the supernatural stuff to a minimum or only for special moments. If they can keep the group scary without being spooky, this could be great.

Something that genuinely annoyed me from Tempest wasn’t even anything about the Wyatt 6, it was calling Jey Uso a “bad wrestler.” It’s such an empty headed statement not only because he really knows nothing about Jey’s position as he isn’t actually in the business but also because he’s straight up wrong. Jey is clearly one of the most popular wrestlers right now and he’s had insanely good matches in a tag team or as a singles wrestler in his almost 15 year career on the main roster. Such an egotistical and arrogant thing to say that really annoyed me.

I had goosebumps through the whole segment. Such a great angle to honor Bray's legacy. I really hope they do not screw this up! I'm with Luke here: If this becomes a cult like faction, like the original Wyatt Family was, this has big potential to be absolutely awesome!

Nikki pointing to the door is right out of revelations: and he beckoned "come and see". The only way this could have been better is if Bray was still here to lead them.

The way certain pro wrestling fans want there pro wrestling to be as realistic as possible while believing the Young Bucks could actually win a real fight at the same time is hilarious. Just because it doesn't flip about, tell no story, and get 5 stars from some old man called dave doesn't mean it isn't good.

this has to be the worst way to watch this phenomenal moment; to hear people talk through what's happening on screen. such a contrast to your reactions to actual matches where you're lost in the moment. this was 2 critics taking apart the segment in realtime instead of being absorbed in it. I usually enjoy your content but this reaction doesn't do it for me. couldn't even finish the video.

I would agree with Oli, and say that they did debut at 11, so the bar now is set quite high. This can work so long as you obviously don't give them powers, like how Undertaker and Kane shot lightning at each other in like '96 lol. As long as they keep Bo Dallas the Jig Saw of the group, and the rest are his disciples this can work really well.

I'm just glad it's finally happened/happening. I personally thought the RAW after the Bray Documentary aired would have been the time. But the extra time feels like they better have been getting the background, and the first six months to a year planned out for them in terms of matches. I'm assuming they will interfere with the MITB ladder match to set up a load of matches for Summer Slam and go from there. As it seems the first few weeks are going to be talking segments to help establish the goals, set up the feuds, pay tribute to Bray and get that over with. Then the receipts for the introduction begin to get paid back. Otherwise I hope the Intercontinental Championship does end up on Sheamus. Sami taking a Brogue and a Spear, while Sheamus sets up another Brogue for Bron to 'steal' the victory of a triple threat is a fine ending. But it's possible it gets traded before settling in on Bron.

That was like one of the best works of Wyatt himself. It was captivating, they looked both cool and scary. Hope WWE got good storylines for them. I was not sure to see any content like that since Wyatt was and is my favorite wrestling person, not just wrestler. And I was not sure that they would really make effort to deliver a good story, it would be betrayal to his memory and abusive use of his name I guess. I felt uncomfortable during the debut, but it was for the good reasons. I was hesitant, now I am hyped.

I got a thing with supernatural characters, but Wyatt was different than the most. He brought cinema to wrestling, his character was not just about aura, his work was continious during all of his career, as Bray Wyatt/Fiend. And storylines provided for him mostly was not good. He made his own name, RIP. For now, the debut of Wyatt Sicks was great.

They are a family, and people laid down in the back were people who turned their back on their family/friends/groups? There was chad gable, gunther or ludwig was there near the rambling rabbit, braums was there, carmelo i think was there. It was their reckoning i guess, i am excited and also bit afraid where this goes.
