I always felt that Laura shouldn’t have become Wolverine, so that she could define herself apart from what she was made to be. Now, I’ve only really read the solo Laura series (haven’t read the 2018 one yet), so I don’t really know her story with the X-Men as a whole. While I certainly appreciate her character development, I don’t think Laura should have become Wolverine. Not because I don’t think she deserves it, because she has more than earned it, but because in being a clone of Logan, I think becoming Wolverine sort of undermines the work made in her becoming her own person. I don’t dislike Laura as Wolverine by any means, but I would have also enjoyed watching her continue to grow outside Logan and his sphere of influence.

@@sunder12 I have read it, and I did enjoy it. Overall, I’ve been quite content with Laura’s development. Laura becoming Wolverine is more of a ‘I wouldn’t have done that’ rather than an actual grievance. And I get that she’s Logan’s daughter, but she’s still technically his clone, albeit a ‘failed’ on.

Yes, but it hasn't been confirmed on the current slot of movies coming out in the next few years. Everything has been booked till 2023, we're not getting an X-Men movie any time soon.

MCU can literally draw from numerous sources for their inspiration. I would like to see HoX/PoX much more than whatever this will be. That being said, I dont think anyone reads comics for what will potentially be MCU's future nor is it any indication of such.

Yup. That's exactly what I was thinking. Both the cast (mutants) and costumes should be huge clues to the X-Men in the MCU.

What they need to do is retcon all the mid or late 90s comic-current time comics and just label it as an alternate timeline then start or continue the story from that 90s era characters and have a classic comic book art style. Better order reading, kinda like manga but with color, marvel, original art style, american. I think thats when most people would rather read the comics then the mcu

None of the secondary comics during the Dawn of X were meant to be ongoing. They were just supposed to be mini-series. We'll have to see what happens after Inferno. This is very much a soft reboot though. Hickman has been setting up this relaunch for a while now in both XoS, X-Men etc. With his X-Men book essentially just being a Krakoa book, I think it's good that he goes on to do things like Inferno while someone else writes a proper main X-Mean team.
