I just assumed Sinister implanted the control diamond in Nathan when he was a baby. Scott blasted Xavier because he was gonna jump the gun. If he used Magneto's powers and fixed Earth's magnetic field, the power would come back and Gold Team would definitely be overwhelmed by Bastion. He already sensed that Jean and Nathan were in peril, so he just put his wife and kid first.

So the reason why Scott stopped Charles from taking over Magneto’s mind, is because if they fix the Earth’s magnetic pull, the prime sentinels come back online, which means Gold team would be double fucked, so they were counting on Gold team beating Bastion before Blue team beat Magneto. However, I think Scott’s decision represents more than that. Scott has embraced more of Magneto’s revolutionary ideas throughout the course of the season, and while he may not fully agree with Magnus, he has also become disillusioned with Charles’ idealism, so this choice really shows that Scott is no longer Xavier’s little soldier boy.

When storm asked Jean what happened I always say that hole happened from poor beast getting knocked through the floor lol

Rogue took over the story plot from Colossus, who was the one in the comics, who joined Magneto on Avalon (the new name of Asteroid M) after her sister Illyanna died. After the Fall of Avalon through Nemesis, Colossus joined Excalibur on Muir Island. But I think Rogue's gonna leave Magneto right in the next episode, after what he did to Wolverine.

Gold team need to settle Bastion first before blue team use magneto to fix earth. But now this happen.

This is shaping up to be a great finale, I do think someone will die in the next episode

You guys showed as much or more emotion than everyone else Ive watched react to the beginning scene with Jubilee and Storm. I bawled my eyes out and Im 46. Idk if it has to do with having kids or because people are just forgetting what it feels like to be a kid. To be unsure in moments when everyone else in the world is so dead set in their beliefs. I still get pissed when people call the Jubilee ep a 'filler'. Its part of the progression. We all have to start looking at the same old picture from a different perspective. Its how the shit gets done. Its how we move on. Heal. Adapt. EVOLVE. This show is everything, rn. Honestly, idk if I can make it more than 2, 2 1/2 months w/o another season. I can rewatch til then, but thats the max.

Baston is a villian for the mid/late 90s comic book after the Age of Apocalypse, and the Onslaught Saga... when the quality of the books tanked like they ran out of good ideas. In the comics, frankly, Baston sucked. But Xmen97's reinterpretation of him is awesome, and makes more plot sense, and dramatic sense than how they did it in the comics. I'd bet the comics will quietly retcon their Bastion/PrimeSentinel depiction to match this one. PS morph can only mimic purely physical, anatomy based powers, like wings, claws, muscles, etc. Notice, since Morph has no Gamma power, Jean had to fuel his hulking strength with her Telekinesis. PPS Sinister built a "backdoor" into Madalyns brain, and engineered the same backdoor control-key in baby Cable (and it laid dormant till he activated it).
