F.O.H. extremists who hijacked military weapons, Casandra Nova doing the job herself, Apocalypse, hell even a random asteroid. No matter what that island was meant to be decimated.

Fixed points in time are interesting in fiction. Like the Butterfly Effect, one can't comprehend what the outcome could be if a fixed point is altered. It is explored quite a bit in Doctor Who. It was an adventure with the First Doctor that the concept of fixed points was used. How the Aztecs needed to fall in order for future events to take place.

Technically, these were introduced in Loki Season 1. Sylvie, the renegade Loki variant, was able to evade capture by traveling to different absolute points throughout history (usually apocalypses)…moments where no amount of intervention would change the event that they are pretty much blind spots to hide from the TVA. What if Season 1 introduced a much more personal take on the idea, where in order for that universe’s Doctor Strange to be who he is, Christine had to die on that specific date and time.

If you're talking about who I think you're talking about, that's the future version of Forge (hence why he built the time machine: Forge can build anything) and Shard Bishop (Bishop's sister, who is highlighting that Mr Lucas Bishop has been going by his last name this entire time)

like most people whining about "absolute points" in time travel......CAble never played Chrono Trigger. best. video game. EVER. solution to save people: travel to the past with an exact physical duplicate of your target. at moment of death, replace original with duplicate. take original back to your present. the timeline unfolds precicely as it was meant to..but your target is still alive. zero paradox, easy peasy. and DON"T tell me that between what was already availible in the modern day marvel universe, and all cable's future tech, that he couldn't come up with a clone. Ok, so that wouldn't save all of Genosha. but it WOULD save his mom.
