I doubt it but due to the intro magneto is no longer an xman . In my opinion apocalypse is behind everything along with sinister. I’m seeing it as the strong shall survive and he’s pitting humans against mutants. Gambit appearing to Xavier is probably symbolic of him dying or becoming “death” as one of apocalypse horsemen. To me it seems when they show characters in the intro they will appear somehow in the series. Just my opinion

So Charles Xavier, survived got taken off world, got real close with the Empress here, got an iron man suit to walk, was going to get married to said Empress. And didn't see any problems with not telling anyone for a whole year only to plan to show back up as an emperor of the galaxy. For the world greatest mind reader and empathy, some time I question the ethics of his planning.
