INFO ON EGOSOFT: THE CREATORS OF THE X GAMES SERIES AND THE LORE BEHIND THEM.
Egosoft GmbH (formerly Ego Software) is a German video game developer based in Würselen, Germany. The company was founded by Bernd Lehahn in Herzogenrath in June 1988 as Ego Software, and incorporated as Egosoft GbR in 1990, though still trading as Ego Software until 1998. In 2006, the company re-incoprorated as Egosoft GmbH.
Egosoft is best known for its X series of video games, a series of space simulator games noted for combining open-ended gameplay, dynamic market-driven economy and compelling storyline. The series began in 1999 with X: Beyond the Frontier. Since then, the series has expanded with three sequels and three standalone expansions; the latest being X4: Foundations, released November 30, 2018.

Honestly fantastic to hear someone doing this! the X series lore is surprisingly deep if you've not been around since Frontier and it's all kinds of easy to get lost in.

lore smore, its more fun to build an intergalactic corporation and you being the owner, while sitting back in your hq or spearhead dreadnought giving commands and obliterating all competition to debris. These games were always Skyrim in space with kingdom managent

Think the Type 1-4 needs an quick and not-quite-right explanation: Type 1 complete control of your planet, Type 2 Solar System, Type 3 Galaxy, Type 4 Universe. Humanity is still in the upper part of Type 0.

I love how you clearly stated your sources. You, sir, are a KZfaq masterpiece. It is so hard(near impossible) to find people that explain the lore of any subject without outright plagiarizing their sources. I am going to sub your channel. However, you guys have to keep on cranking out that sweet sweet content in order to maintain my sub.

I wonder if we will ever reach a different type of civilization. I mean we are actually somewhat pretty close to becoming a type 1 civ. Well "close" roughly 100-200 years estimated by some scientists. Man living in a transitional time kinda sucks we know how the future might be but we never will see it with our own eyes, thats depressing isnt it? :) Good video mate im tuning in for the second part for sure. Noodle - lol, it's almost impossible to offend me :) I'm just not that kind of person and if i was, being offended doesn't actually hurt anyone so it's never a problem in my eyes. but yeah reading from a script was the only way i would be able to remember everything that i needed to mention. Makes me sound quite robotic though lol

Just a small tip. I know you' re reading from a script but try to not make it sound like that. your tone is very mono and sounds like a robot and scripted, it's hard to keep viewers attention when you sound scripted.

Noodle - Compared to any of our videos released in the past, our individual video analytics overwhelmingly say otherwise. audience retention is at an all time massive high for us. also if we don't do this, the videos won't be clear and to the point. instead it would contain a lot of mumbling, pausing, slurring and messing up of our words and sentences as we suck at talking in general. This would drive people away from these sorts of videos. We're mono and robotic i know, but it's clear and understandable as a result. Believe me, if we could do it without a scrip we 100% would. Thank you for the feedback and suggestion though. even though i disagree to some level we still appreciate it :)

Twinkky - I agree with both @Sky Software and Noodle. This was the first ever video that research and attention to detail was key for the video. I was very nervous because i have a lot of bass in my voice and i mumble quite a bit so it 'definitely' needs a lot of improvement delivery and speech wise. Noodle has a very good point about the audience seemed to enjoy it and were very interested in this type of content. There will be more on the way but hopefully with a bit more practice and less worry of messing up things get better. We are still a small channel so learning curve is in play with everything we do until we find a happy area, with that said we try to be ourselves and not change much so i hope that shows also. Great constructive criticism and also positive feedback! Hope to see you comment in the next video if you find any improvement in the quality of the delivery!!!!
