Same. Sometimes I have to reach a point where it almost hurts not to draw, then I finally do something, anything, just to scratch the itch and I'm like, why do I avoid this? This is fun! And then I get stuck on something and the cycle repeats.

I usually just think of the first colour that comes to my head and then just draw the first character that comes to my head that is that colour, then I just keep drawing characters with contrasting colours and then my creativity is usually fixed

Did this, except I tried to look for something other than faces (though the last one turned out to be a face. 😅) Almost everytime I do scribbles I end up finding a face. 😥 This time, I did the body of a semi-muscled man, the profile of a dragon head, the profile of a boar-like creature, a mermaid that's more fish than woman, and the aforementioned last face. :D
