I'm a big fan of PlayStation. However, I don't have a problem with Xbox, I just happen to really like PlayStation. Just a half hour ago, I resoldered the PCB from my Xbox 360 Elite's dead DVD drive (not the E but the original with the 120GB HDD) into a new DVD drive and it works great. Tray opens by itself and games actually read now. I don't have the 120GB HDD, the guy who had owned it before tossed a dead 20GB drive into it and the it read _once_ before it died its inevitable death. This Xbox 360 is the first Xbox I've personally ever owned, not counting the other Xbox/Xbox 360/Xbox One that basically my whole family uses. Looking forward to many Halo Reach LAN parties though

@@jj70098 I have 2 E models with 2 different motherboards. The launch E models (2013-2014) used the Corona motherboard like the S model. Anything after 2014 has the Winchester motherboard that can’t be hacked.

@Ian Gray have you tried clearing the cache or updating it? It's not the same red ring, the old Xbox 360 (the white one lol) was unfixable when ever it got the red ring, but the 360 s and e can be fixed

It's 2020 and the Series X looks like a high-tech refrigerator. OG Xbox One can't get any better imo apart from the stupid capacitors MS put in the power brick (which blow out a couple months after you get the console) however we got a new power brick with a fan and it still runs to this day. I'm actually a PlayStation fan, but I'm slowly moving toward Xbox. I just fixed the DVD drive of an Xbox 360 (the og Elite one with the 120GB HDD, but the previous owner threw a dead 20GB drive in it) and am thinking of getting the original 120GB HDD for it when I get the chance

I prefer psyichal buttons as I use to always open disc tray on s model by mistake. I just use the controller on the e for the tray anyway

Yes and it also had overheating issues as well as occasional game crashing/file corruption issues after playing for long amounts of hours on it. The E didn’t totally eliminate this but it definitely decreased in some capacity

@@Gtasplayer I used my S like crazy and after the years, i traded it in and brought the E model when it was on discount however i rarely used the E as the XB1 came out shortly after. The S didn't cause me any problems, the only issues i knew about was only what i read up on. My 360 didn't scratch the disks, however i did have it laid flat and the E, well i haven't used it enough to find out. They do feel like solid systems to me, maybe i was a lucky one.

My original Xbox 360 chewed up games and after three Red Rings… bought a PS3. The Xbox 360 was probably one of the best leaps forward in terms of next gen gaming! I remember getting it early as a Fight Night fan… and Fight Night Round 3 is the best overall Fight Night. I haven’t bought Xbox anything since the 360 but as a Fight Night fan this system allows me to play them all, including my favorite Fight Night 2004. It was the first of the series and had the best gameplay, but even though graphically it’s the worst I was ranked in the top #100 (hovered at #30-#40) for ps2 and even won the belt beating #4 ranked GlassJoe. I lost the belt the very next fight to a #10 ranked fighter but man that is the most fun I’ve had playing any game online including my PS5!!! I hate to be that old guy (hated those old timers 😂) that says it, but they really don’t make them like they used to and gameplay always trumps graphics. What good is a pretty game that plays like garbage or a truly balanced boxing game that was made by fight fans for fight fans. That sweet science is coming back on ESBC boxing 🥊 been waiting (technically since 2009) for 2yrs for this game and it’s so close and EA is terrified because they don’t know how to make sports games anymore 😢 they’re like China… just wait and counter copy developers. They trashed the best football game ever made with the 2005 NFL 2K series which was the last one. Instead devs spend all their time developing their micro transactions game and how to pry cash out of kid’s parents for a costume or something aesthetic looking. It’s a pay to win era and gaming is the worst it’s been even though the technology seems almost limitless. There’s no balanced skill to win games and there’s always some OP glitch to get exploited and then patched. Sorry for the rant if you’re still reading… should’ve used chapters

So basically I was able to get onto support and they changed my accounts region and I was able to buy DLC, I was experiencing this with saints row 1 specifically. Now when I play saints row on xbox one, a couple of DLC packs seem to have disappeared, like they are literally just not there, like the unkut pack, I figure there is little I can do about this so I don't care. It's all just very weird because the 360 was Australian bought and I have no idea what caused this region mix up

@@sneevegastv7606 Perhaps your right, but it was also built to be cheaper for them to produce, since it was the end of the 360 life cycle As a rule of thumb, only the early white models suffered from overheating issues, they changed the chip in the elite version (the black phat version) so I think your pretty safe if you get any of those other models. And if your white phat version didn't red ring then I think your safe too, there are plenty arcade models still working normally out there

I don't care what this review says. I had an S model for almost 10 years and finally got an E model a week and a half ago. It SHITS on not only the speed of the S model but the graphics are so much closer to upscaled 900-1080p than they ever were on my old S. Max Payne 3 looks the best it's going to get on console, on the E in my opinion.

I use a first model ps3 and it's better than the slim and way better than the super slim, ive used a super slim and I have a friend who has a slim, and BTW the one I have can play ps2 games and ps1 games unlike the newer models witch can only play ps1 games.
