Soon you’ll be able to customize it in the Xbox design lab and if you want the paddles thumb sticks charging dock extra d-pad and a case you can buy them separately for like $60. So the only benefit is being able to use it in the Xbox design lab or if you just want a white one instead and it’s a bit cheaper.

Received my core controller yesterday and after 2 hours Luv restored. I would say it does feel lighter and maybe they used a lighter more durable plastic compound. The color control makes me luv it 10 times more.

They could’ve put the paddles on. How does a minute amount of metal that would barely effect the overall end price get removed. The USB-C cable probably costs 5 times that amount! 😂 EDIT: Hell they could’ve even used plastic for the paddles if they were really price concerned.🤨

I have like 4 series one elites, and the only reason I can't bring myself to get a series 2 is because the internal battery. I know I'm likely to beat the heck out of it. Other than that. I'd probably buy one.

I don’t know if I should get the elite 2 not the core one anymore because I seen a lot of people talking bad about it. Does anyone know the chance of getting these issues then any other pro controller? I have not had a Xbox before and 3 months of having one. So if you know something that could help please tell me.

MY THOUGHTS! I just got one, because my PC controller was a DS4 and although I love the DS4 more than any xBox controller the one i had was second hand and.. someone else had rubbed off the decals on the touch pad a bit and (incidentally, who uses the touch pad that much, with that much intensity? This is Japan we're talking about so maybe it was some kinda button mashing music game) So anyway I decided to go for the 'best of the best' according to various review sites. elite series 2. My thoughts: - xBox joysticks are too tall. This is a general thing, I dunno what kinda gamers like having higher joysticks but for me it just means you're using muscles that you aughtn't really use to perform micro-adjustments and, ultimately, I'm less accurate than with a dual sense or DS4. It could be because my hands aren't big enough, but the problem with that is that my hands are big enough. - The xbox joystick layout is no longer ideal. I dunno what's happened, but after using the dual sense I find the placement of the directional pad vs the joystick to be weird. This is coming from one who specifically preferred the xBox controllers for most of their gaming life. I think I prefer the priority the d-pad gets on the PS controller. I THINK the big difference between DS4/DualSence and the earlier dual shocks is the dimple in the top of the joystick.. The added accuracy that affords is the difference that makes those symmetrical joysticks better, in my opinion, again. - I love the weight and the skin of the device. I have all the weights in my mouse, my keyboard is metal, i love heavy duty hardware.. This controller suits me in that respect. - The A key is busted, much like one of my old Dual Sense controllers. This is a more subjective point, I'm just saying that the A key works, but occasionally misses and doesn't register a press. It doesn't stick like the old dualsense did, but it's just an annoying. Apparently some 100% isopropyl alcohol, like i have, might be useful, but if that means taking the controller apart i'm gun shy.

i love the core controller. less stuff outta the box, it feels a lot more put together than the OG elite2. the elite 2 felt premium but at times felt like certain parts would break. this controller just feels like a 1.1 update that fixed the errors of the og e2.

Glad I just paid $130 for my elite 2 instead of the $180 Best Buy was selling it for.... I think I'd be a lil pissed to pay $130 for the core version.

Wouldn't bother. Might as well just get the standard version. You'll pay more getting the controller and the accessories separetely. No point. Wasted investment in the long run.

You can never have to many controllers they all claim to be different but you still have to constantly charge them which is a pain in the bum. Pretty pathetic to be honest, listing the obvious difference but not understanding the purpose. Why even bother making content if you won't do research? Plenty of people have the elite series 2. Perhaps the want to just replace their pad while keeping their accessories and not having to pay for those... Not hard to understand is it. If you want the full package just simply get the all black elite 2 which includes the accessories. Again, not hard to understand. What people should be talking about is whether this remote is identical or if there has Ben improvements to its internals... What a waste of time this video was.
