mine just goes to 1000 kbps then goes to 19 mbps then it goes to 40-50 mbps then it goes back to 19 mbps and sometimes it goes back to 1000 kbps

VERY HELPFUL!!! I pay for 300Mbps Internet but I was getting 5-10Mbps download speed on average. When I tested my speed it would say my download speed was 140Mbps but nothing would ever download at that speed. I cleared the MAC address and changed my DNS server to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 and now I’m downloading at 100-150Mbps! Thank you!

I literally test my connection on xbox and on my nighthawk router app and i’m getting 30mb which is good, but when i download any game or update i get less than 1mb. i have no idea why it does this, i feel like i’ve tried everything.

I was just moving at 5kbps 😆, I cleared my MAC address and restarted and now my download speed is 98.99 mbps and my upload is 86.39 with 46ms latency no Ethernet cord, this helped

If you have some cash to spend, there are literal things you can buy to split the internet while keeping the same speeds on two different networks.

internet videos tend to be a scam; Your internet is either good or it's not. There isn't much you can do to fix internet problems other then restarting the modem. search up speed test on google. your internet should be good enough to do whatever you want around 50Mbps download and 5Mbps Upload. There is a difference between MBps and Mbps. Just divide the Mbps by 8 to get the MBps amount. *b* is for *bit* and *B* is for *byte* It takes *8* bits to make a *single* byte.

Sinorix there’s no solution for when it gets stuck at 100%, believe me I tried everything else. It finally finished though and works like normal

@@cameron2289 You didn't have to reinstall, it either fixes itself after an hours or less or what I found works for me is install a different game/app pause the update that is at 100% then after the 2nd game/app is installed just unpause it if it didn't fix already
