It's crazy how much better the Xbox Series X is designed than the PS5, it really is night and day. I recommend watching a PS5 teardown and see for yourself.

@@santhoshsridhar5887 in terms of engineering and quality of components Xbox does a better job You can tell This because SSD is being cooled the ps5 ssd doesn’t and Just how small the series X is And being 17% more powerful there is not excuse Microsoft spent more money and time on engineering and got a console that is small with high quality components and best cooling

It’s insanely Awesome How The Engineers essentially managed to Put both a Ryzen 3700x Cpu & RX 6800 Gpu into this Console Apu even if the Gpu is slightly cut down from 60 compute units to 56 compute units as that’s the actual size of the GPU albeit for yields only 52 compute units are active in the Series X but even then that’s insane a Console has a nearly $300 dollar Cpu, and almost a $550 dollar Gpu, and despite having a few less compute units than the Pc version it won’t matter because with the usual deep console level developer optimizations for game’s the Xbox Series X Will easily have comparable performance to the RX 6800 / Nvidia 3070 cards as that’s uber impressive for a Console ! I’m an old Man I’ve been Gaming since about 1986, and there’s no doubt The Xbox Series X is the most impressive Console ever created as it’s a marvel of engineering Excellence as it’s build quality, and high end Pc level components is Phenomenal

@@ARXInfinite Yea I think what I said is reasonable especially once devs start utilizing the new AMD dlss type software upscaling direct ml super resolution for the New Xbox Series X as that’s gonna deliver dramatic performance improvements across the board, however it’s gonna be a while before We start seeing True Next Gen only game’s which can take full advantage of the Newer Hardware, software, and newer more advanced game engines, etc !

@@ARXInfinite either way for the Price of just $499 The Price to performance ratio of The Newer Consoles is insane especially for Xbox Series X as an equivalent GPU alone by itself costs roughly as much !

@@TweakTips if you have an RTX card check out Nvidia Broadcast. It won’t improve mic quality, but it definitely helps with background noise

Fantastic Teardown! I especially appreciated the info on the HDMI IC, PSU, and especially knowing that the main internal drive is removable. I have a feeling "Modding my XBox sX with an bigger SSD" will be a common topic in the coming years.

In the PS5 the storage is hard wired on to the motherboard :-(

I think now we see how so many of them are defective right out of the gate. Form factor over performance. It's gonna be a rough console generation again for Xbox.

I sure hope you and all other X-Box fanboys know that the XBSX is only using around 6 to 8 T.Flops for the games of the XBSX the rest of the T.Flops are reserved for cloud gaming only. Edit: I should of said partition instead of reserved. My bad.

@Victor Bélair Im permanently disabled and my family owned a electronics store from the early 80s til 2014. All I do is study electronics and video game consoles specifically. I also build PCs for people and fix gaming consoles if I'm able to. I'm not trying to start something by my original comment because im sure a lot of people don't or don't want to believe me but I assure you its the truth, I'm just trying to let people know how much MS has been lying to the consumer all this time.
