If they had that capability, they would have showcased it. Then again, it would look pretty bad and likely damage the prototype craft even if they had the capability, so who knows, it wouldn't be surprising for them to be reluctant to pull such a stunt even if they had the capability. What i mean by 'look bad' is, even if they developed the proper autonomous emergency control to compensate for the loss of both motors on an arm, instead of falling like a rock similar to your avarage quadrotor drone, the craft would basically enter a slightly tilted spin much like a helicopter would in the event of tail rotor loss. If it's made properly and robust enough, it would theoretically be able to actually hover indefinitely while spinning like that, tho i would say that would definitely not be a fun experience for the passengers, they might even pass out at some point depending on the spin rate, so it would be best for it to softly crash land as soon as possible before it gets too crazy. Anyways, i would say this kinda design should be pretty safe as it would be very unlikely for both motors to fail on an arm at the same time. Such an event would most likely only come about in a crash scenario where they actually lose the props on an arm due to impacting a wall or something.

@@N0xiety that's what I was thinking, maybe the diagonal opposing arm then focuses on keeping the aircraft from flipping out of control while the other two focus on dropping the vehicle to the ground as softly as possible. Definitely a maximum bad situation...
