The plaintiff opened up a family cellphone plan for his longtime friend with the agreement she would make payments. Unfortunately, the plaintiff claims the defendant failed to do so, so he’s suing. The defendant says she made consistent payments until one day the phone was shut off for nonpayment. The defendant believes the plaintiff took the bill money she paid him and spent it on something else

@@lauraeliza1997 in Germany they work totally different,the title holder of the 📲📱 contract pay's 60 euro a month and you can include one other person on it for " free" and that person's WiFi is open 👐, no restrictions on the data using, you can phone for free any number in Germany and free SMS in Germany, that is a good deal,but not those in US, unless they allow the same in US

Like Harvey said, bad credit is most always the reason why people ask others to put them on their phone plan!!! She apparently jumps from one boyfriend’s plan to another one’s, and she doesn’t seem to care about ruining their credit in the slightest!

@ruthcalfee7868 not true about credit being bad sometimes its cheaper with more phones compared to just 1 or 2. Like me, my fiance, my brother, dad and son all share a plan 5 phones unlimited talk and data and Hotspot for $100 a month for 3 years with a free phone included in plan and $250 each Verizon gift cards for switching carriers. We're it would cost $100 a month for just 1 phone on a monthly plan instead of the 5 phones on a family plan monthly. What would you do 5 phones for $100 a month or 1 phone for $100 a month?

@@r1vermanthat's because they lied about what they were selling. If you're honest and say "it's not paid off so you have to keep said network or pay x amount to have them I locked." Then it should be no problem

Her testimony isn’t credible after I heard her lie to Doug. She stated she always paid on time every month, but when the judge asked if she made late payments, her response was yes. That’s not paying on time every month.

Some accounts you can see text content, Verizon has an app you can use to do so, also if you an Apple you should have texted in iCloud. Also, I don’t believe him with legal. If you had case info he couldn’t called the carrier legal end and got transcripts

What planet does the judge live on to think that mere mortals can just log into their phone account and see 'texts', only if you subpoena them and only if you have good reason to subpoena them and you'd need a judgement to do that. He should have been awarded all of what he was asking, the defendant used him and breached their contract, so why should he have to pay for that?...

How do people go into court and say they have a new phone and the information they need is not available to them? Every phone I have ever had I have been able to transfer the entire contents to my new phone. I had a phone that was broken in half and I was still able to transfer everything to my new phone. The judge said she has been doing it for years so why let litigants use that as an excuse when deciding the case? It's an absolute joke that in this day and age anyone with a cell phone would not have access to the information unless the phone is at the bottom of a river and has never once been backed up. These people are ignorant and bring their stupid disputes to television court shows so they don't have to pay the judgements and they get paid to be on the show. No one has any pride in themselves or at least not enough to stop them from airing their dirty laundry on national television.

If he called and called her and she didn’t respond, I don’t think the plaintiff should have to come out of pocket. I understand the late cutoff situation but it sounds like both of them played a part in that as well. She should pay for the value of the phones and the early termination fee.

@@BeccasaurousRex270 She wiped them clean because she was giving the phones back to her ex and I'm sure she didn't want him to be able to go through her messages, pictures, ect.. or for anyone at the store to potentially see her stuff when the phones were turned in. That's pretty normal to do. Also, she wasn't trading in the phones. She was cancelling them and giving them back, so that she could get new phones through a different carrier and on her own plan. And unless she saves her texts to her SIM card or cloud, which a lot of people don't, it makes sense why she wouldn't have them anymore. Not to mention the account wasn't in her name, nor did she have access to it and it got cancelled a month later anyways. So she couldn't get them that way either.
