Yamaha's new 2021 Tenere 700 fork performance dynamometer testing. After being anticipated for quite some time the new T700 suspension is at Cogent Dynamics for testing and evaluation. We are very impressed by what Yamaha has done and fully expect there to be many of these bikes sold for Adventure Dual-Sport riding as well as for loaded Overlanding use. At just over 450 lbs, this is a very capable machine and in the right hands will be capable as an off-road bike. The forks under test came from Yamaha with 20mm open chamber cartridges and 0.60 KG/mm fork springs. This particular set is being revalved with a mid-valve stack added and new custom Cogent Dynamics fork springs are being supplied. We have also done the same evaluation and upgrades to the stock rear shock.
