Ruger makes a suppressed barrel for the 10/22 takedown that’s pretty cool. A little different design. Kind of looks like an over/under barrel. They need to make one for the 9mm pcc

I presume all the suppressor legal requirement apply. But, what's the legal length of the "barrel" in the eyes of BATF? Is it legally settled? Do they go by the outer "shroud" length because it's one piece? Or the inner "barrel" (up to where the suppressor starts) length? Or is it a legal gray area and we're still waiting on the first test case to find out?

It’s measured from the firing pin to the muzzle so that would be a 18” barrel

YHM builds good stuff. Not cheap. But the quality is there. That's a good barrel to do a 10/22 custom build. Or, if you want to make it even quieter, you could do a bolt action. It's the natural enemy of street lights and porch lights.

They’re very accurate. Bullet doesn’t/shouldn’t touch anything in the suppressor. That a baffle strike. A bad thing.

You can actually just put a bottle the size you need standing inside the basin of an ultrasonic and it’ll clean whatever is in the bottle, make sure the basin also has liquid in it, don’t run ultrasonics dry.

I would really want 16 inches of barrel and then the silencer maybe 6 inch, 8 inches is really pushing it because it is just a 22. But I would really want the barrel length To be no less than 16 inches. But that’s just me. Because I can shoot and hit further than 50 yards with a 22 LR.

Eh. You're not getting a hell of a lot more mileage out of suppressed .22 from a 9in barrel vs a 16in barrel. I'd rather keep the oal down.
