Mixing your own dry mixes saves you money. I love having just a few mixes on the shelf for easy meals and desserts.
The mix:
2 ¼ cups flour
1 ½ cups sugar
3 ½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
To make the cake:
1 stick butter
2 TBS oil
1 ½ cups milk
1 TBS vanilla
3 eggs
Bake at 350, between 18 to 35 minutes depending on they type of cake you are making.
Be so blessed.

The National Center for Home Food Preservation is a wonderful resource. I check this site every time I can anything. I am not affiliated with them, but they are a free resource that I recommend.
