Hey, ya'll! Today's video is an EMOTIONAL RELEASE YIN YOGA practice. You all often comment about how much you like the Yin Yoga style practices & my Emotional Release Yoga video is one of the most popular videos on my channel, so I decided to make a combination of the two. If you want to know more about how yoga helps you to release emotions, check out my first Emotional Release video which I'll link down below. During this practice, we'll be holding poses a little longer, anywhere between 1 & 3 minutes. Make sure that as you move into the poses, that you don't go all the way up to your edge, leave room to move deeper into the posture as you hold it. If you need to modify or use props, feel free to do so. Always listen to the needs of your body. I hope you enjoy this practice. Leave a comment below letting me know what you think! Tears came to my eyes when doing the last Pose. The tears did not fall but the tears came. I can’t wait to open up my hips more and more to release the emotions that’s build up in my hips.

I intentionally chose to do this practice today. I knew I needed to release some emotions. But baby the piece of tears that started from the beginning of the video was a lot, the end of the video I was sobbing like a child. I had been holding onto so much, so much I had pushed waaayyyyy down seemed to just jump right of me. This was much needed! Thanks as always Nico 💛💛💛

I appreciate you. The windshield wipers and the twists right after had me making deep gutteral moaning crying and lots of tears. After death pose i just sat there right hand under left, over heart, just crying. So beautiful from a beautiful soul. I thank you for being a huge part of my homecoming; my deep self healing journey.

This was a wonderful practice and just what I needed. I have realised only recently that because of a bad childhood experience i felt terrified to inhabit my body and a disconnect from my senses, and for the first time, in this practice i felt the joy of taking up space and feeling the tension of my body release not just mentally but physically. so many emotions built up the last week... it's been challenging for me... I've gone through a massive argument to a break with no contact and then today to an official break up... As much as I know the break up was good for me and my career and also my ex, it hit deep... we both loved eachother deeply, but it was a mutual agreement to end our relationship at this stage as we both needed to focus on ourselves and our careers. it's bittersweet.. I am allowing myself a couple days to feel grief and afterwards I am going to nourish my mind with knowledge about myself, my future and my needs. during this practice I cried a lot... I feel so much better now that I've let that out of me and I know the more I let out now, the easier the journey to healing will be... just a reminder to myself that I am enough and I am human and that it's normal to go through these cycles of emotions during a healthy breakup. I'm looking forward to my future and it shall bring many good things... Thank you for allowing me to feel tonight ❤️❤️

during the pose where our arms were in cactus, each knee at a time raised (forgot name) - i cried about family unexpectedly. ive been away from them for a couple years during my dark night healing. amazing energy felt throughout the video and in that moment. love you angel, thank you🌛🌸🌝🌸🌜

Funny, my tears fell in the beginning. I've been hyper focused on my goals, checking off big to-dos, taking on new challenges, and healing some deep wounds all while continuously moving forward...not giving myself much time to process my feelings about the motion. I came into practice with all that on my shoulders so this moment of breath and relaxation was an instant and intense release. Still feel like I'm holding onto something but I know I must continue my inner work and further unblocking some energy centers. Gratitude Nico!!!!

I've been dealing with a lot of heavy emotions ever since I lost my father to cancer this year; deep depression, bottomless grief, anxiety, stress, guilt... Lately these emotions have morphed into bursts of anger and wild mood swings. I've been doing your yoga practices for a few weeks now and this came up as I searched for something to safely process my anger and negative emotions. My head was pretty empty during the poses, but at the end when you told us to release all the emotions that came up through breath or tears, I started weeping. I don't feel anger anymore, my mind is a bit calmer and I feel proud of myself for practicing self-care and self-love even during a difficult moment. Thank you so much for sharing these practices with us, they help a lot. Peace and love to you as well!

Dear Nico, thank you so much for this practice. Lately I've been releasing SSOOOO much tension but I am not yet able to truly connect with the emotions behind the tension. Well, sometimes i feel scared and i'm not sure if I'm scared because i am shaking so much or if I'm scared because it is fear that locked this tension into my body in the first place. hmmm. there is so much to discover here. Amazing. I am in a hotel room prepping mentally for this new job. Serious imposter syndrome going on and weeks of dealing with family illness. I needed this quiet time before bed to release all of that so I can wow them tomorrow because I deserve. Incredible practice much needed.

PRECIOUS Nico, clients within the role I play with them often call me an angel. YOU are an ANGEL, Namaste sweetheart. YES it's normal to be a human. I often share words to the effect in regards to being HUMAN. We have forgotten BEING HUMAN is the EXPERIENCE we are all having.
