Conway and Loretta became great friends. When her husband had his first heart attack and she was visiting him, they rushed Conway in. She would go back and forth between their rooms. She was with Conway when he died. Her husband recovered from that heart attack, but diabetes eventually claimed his life. She postponed her career for 10 years to care for the only man she'd ever been with. She was with him when he died. She's 89 now, still working, and after a career that's spanned 60 years, just released another hit album...not just a record, and entire album. It's titled Still Woman Enough. She said she will work until she can't...no plans to stop working.

Country music has a lot of great female artist, and I love all of them, but Loretta is the greatest! You definitely need to do more Loretta. Conway's pretty good himself. Together, they made an incredible duo and not afraid to be funny with it! Try Conway's It's Only Make Believe, when he was young. He started out as a rocker.
