Well, actually, first of all, this is not the truth for everybody: there are people all over the world healing from every ailment (especially gut issues) thanks also to fermented foods. Furthermore, the key here is to understand wich fermented foods are good for your particular situation and, then, slowly introduce them, test how you feel and build it up to a good amount... This can dramatically help to fight the infections that are causing our immune system to flare... sorry for unperfect english, but I' m from Italy, hope it' s clear, anyway.

I'm of Afrikan descent and have started using milk kefir and feel awesome although I could sense some changes in my bodily functions, nothing serious at all though. My son, who is also of Afrikan descent is severely autistic and epileptic as well as chronic gastrointestinal and autoimmune system issues all relative to his health; he is also born with Down syndrome. I have paid zillion over the majority of his almost 21 years and as said recently started making milk kefir and OMG! The differences it has made to his system has been most immediate. I am grateful for the information, but each to his own and I think any suggestion about how to approach changing dietary issues should be slow and steady progress. For example 4 weeks into using home made milk kefir , my son went from one teaspoon 3 times a day and 4 weeks later we're about to add an extra teaspoon to the mix. I truly can't believe how great this is going! As for me I went straight in at half a glass twice a day for 2 days to a full glass twice a day and breaking my fast with it around midday. Go well and peace to you all🥰

@@dogdaysofmylife I have ADHD too and am looking to going back on meds. I'm going to try brain therapy first as I've heard it's very affective and will also treat other issues like severe anxiety and depression also. That being said, I had gut issues for a good 3 years and haven't gone back 100 percent since. I think some of my issues may also be related to my gut health. Don't know if it's SIBO or something else, but I'm going to follow Gojii Man's recommendation of trying to ACV, enzymes etc first. I've had a pain in my right sinus for a long time as well. Don't know if it's a sinus infection, but my doctor couldn't detect anything unusual apart from the pain I was experiencing. I hope there's no infection going on... 😕

Definitely disagree with this video. One of the reasons why is because before going all in with probiotics, you need to fast. Go without eating allow your body to naturally balance the bacteria naturally and slowly eat small amounts as you break the fast. Every single vegetable police fast he noticed no digestion problems of course because he stop eating and thus the body start to correct the bacteria balance. Some people need to stop eating and fast ok.

No more indigestion, bloating, gassy, hurting tummy. But one thing that really helped me was COLLAGEN it really helps my gut health and my anxiety. I take collagen powder ( i just dissolve it in half glass of water on an empty stomach), and i have collagen injections every week ( just for 3 months) and of course dont forget the bone broth ( homemade, not from the groceries). Janet! Please your advise, i appreciate you thank you! my pain is in the mouth of the stomach, between my abs and my chest, right on the middle spot and a little up, im only eating alkaline foods, that is why im confused by this, also im not confirmed of having what i said, i just think i have it because of the symptoms, losing weight, brain fog, tiredness and constipation

Contrary to what people believe, low acid is the major cause of digestive issues! The stomach should be acid, not alkalin e to keep bad microbes in balance! There should be balance in the foods we eat that's why diversity is the key! All groups, carbohydrates, proteins, and fats, vitamins and minerals, purified water, provide natural enzimes to help our digestive system stay in harmony! In my experience ACV is really good ! Helping and correcting low acid stomach, Also knowing what imbalances you have in your gut puts you in control of your health instead of guessing !

Hey Gojiman, this is the first time I've ever heard of you and I have to say I really enjoyed this video. I am over 50 and my metabolism which has always been very fast has slowed down and I'm just recovering from a viral tummy bug that I picked up while visiting my grandchildren, or maybe it was on the plane, who knows. I have taken Florestore brand Probiotics in the past, usually after antibiotics or to build up immune strength. Never had any of the issues you mentioned thankfully. Anyway I appreciate hearing the word of caution regarding the use of fermented foods and probiotics. As the old saying goes or as the Bible even says, everything in moderation! I'm going to look into some homemade vegetable fermentation simply because I am a huge vegetable fan and always have been but I'm not digesting them as well as I would like these days. So looking forward to that. And wish you well on your phd.

Maybe because you should also take note of the right serving of fermented and or probiotics to take in a day. There’s a reason why yogurts, for example yakult (probiotic drink) comes in a small serving. Because that contains the right amount of probiotic to take for a day. If you go beyond the right amount of serving per day, that could really result a negative effect to your body. Just because it is also evident that fermented foods and probiotics is good for your body or has good effects, doesn’t mean you should dig in on the entire jar of kimchi or an entire bucket of yogurt. That could also be the reason why kimchi is often served as a side dish in Korean cuisine or are mixed with other foods (e.g. kimchi kimbap, stew, etc.) Not as a snack. Because again, right amount of serving per day. That could also be the reason why probiotics such as yogurt is served in a small cup. I have been eating the right amount of yogurt by not exceeding to one small cup a day for years now, and so far, I haven’t had any issues with my immune system. It is also quite helpful for balancing my pH level since I have PCOS and that I am more prone to vaginal dryness.

Every responsible person says to start with 1 fork full of fermented foods. If someone has a histamine overload because of parasites or is heavy metal toxic, then lactofermented vegetables etc can cause trouble. Watch some Dr Zach Bush videos and if necessary clean out the parasites first before you reseed and heal the gut.

Yes, folic acid. You will find it in greens and grains. Folic acid kills cancer cells and boots new cell growth. Easy way to eat greens in mass amounts is to have them braised in stock, seasoned with garlic and soy sauce "Chinese vegetables" style. The iron in them will make a difference too. Amino acids is another.
