"There is no learning without remembering" - this is important
@bobmatson7268
@bobmatson7268 3 жыл бұрын
A note here from a real psychologist. When we are learning something, we only remember that which is important to us at that particular point in time. It's like watching a movie and only remembering the parts of the movie that affect you most at that moment. That's why we watch movies a second and third time and pick up on things we didn't notice before. It doesn't make anything we do wrong. And you should not listen to people who tell you that you're doing something wrong and you should listen to them in order to be better, because you're not, it is just called life.

Main Takeaways: 1) Don't touch your phone in the morning - it reinforces distraction - wires your brain for reaction and decreases control - decreases productivity and creativity 2) Meditation is a mental exercise for concentration - a muscle that you can build 3) Creativity, memory, and focus are things you do - not have. - These are processes that you can build 4) Knowledge is only power when you use it! - So it is important to train your memory and retain it 5) After 2 days of learning 6) Within one hour of going to bed, don't use screens 7) Write down 6 things to accomplish the next day - 3 personal and 3 professionally - don't touch phone until at least one task is complete 8) "Practice Makes Progress" 9) Keep phone out of bedroom

Wow, basically, these points will save 10 precious minutes of your life : 1. We read something once, and within 2 days or 48hrs 80 percent of it volatile, i.e we forget 80% of it! 2. Write down 3things which you want to do personally and professionally before going to bed 3. The next day don't touch ur phone until one of the 3things is done. 4. Phones, laptops, TV, etc emit blue light which reduces melatonin production i.e makes it difficult to sleep earlier. 5. Don't look at your phone when u wake up as a bad news will destroy ur wholeee daayyy. 6. Close your youtube now and please do some productive work (my advice) 😊 Stop lazying around cuz life is too short and precious. I hope you have a good day!! Practice makes Progress!!!!!! There's never going to be perfect. As a kid, hearing "practice makes perfect" I didn't believe in that, it bothered me, I knew there was no such thing as perfect. I still know it. I love that that has been implemented in my life so young. And to hear it said in a video is absolutely awesome. I hope people truly get what that phrase is telling them. You. Don't. Need. To. Strive. For. Perfection. Strive for growth, strive for what's best suited for you, strive for health and happiness. I can get up in the morning, take my allergy pill, wash my face with cold water, put on my lenses, etc, feed the cats, feed myself, get ready for the day! AAAAAAAAA just get up and go out there and get things done, things you need done. Get done the things you will be glad to have done so you can enjoy everything and all things, especially the small things in life. What you do right now, today, can be a great help for yourself in the future, or be of no help at all. What you do today does matter. Will what you do today bring you what you want a year from now? Think about that. What should you do today that will give you what you want one day. Everything is a process, and this process takes conviction, then consistency will be of great progress, and that will lead you to the result. Whatever be the result is up to you. Enjoy life. Make it what you want, not what others want it to be for you. The life you've got is a gift, it may not be simple to think this but you can really truly do anything in your life for your life right now. Use what you know, appreciate what you know, and maybe the knowledge you have can help you grow towards what you really want your life to be. I love the part in the video that says "to be a thermostat or to be a thermometer" have control over your happiness, mind and heart, or let your environment have control over you. Coming across this quote is what made me recall a time when my grandpa taught me about what the thermometer reacts to and what a thermostat is, and how this can relate to our own lives. That memory and this video and quote sparked something in me to want to comment any of this. Please don't disregard or disrespect your true self. Love your inner self and let yourself go. There is so much to enjoy and experience and much to fulfill for your heart mind and soul! Have a blessed day my friend

Almost every improvement in my life and well being can be traced back to some form or moment of self reflection I had. I spend a lot of time thinking and existing within my head. When I think of times in my life where I felt immature or inadequate, lazy or very ignorant to reality, it was often a time where I was not reflecting and just simply reacting to the world around me with little thought. I absolutely support this advice!

Disagree...what you are deciding right now defines your success. Bad morning? Fix it, correct your path, get back to work, get back to the grind. You can change all of that with the next decision and the attitude you approach that decision point or trial with. If you have a bad whole day because you had a bad morning it is because you decided that bad morning will define the rest of the day. You gave up.

IF YOU DO THIS YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE INTO THE FUTURE. (Almost here’s my tale)It’s so cool that you know when you are there in that flow state. When I was in medical school(it was bullshit medical assistant school) I would go to the library to study at least one hour after class. It was so quite and cool in there. About 15 mins after getting into the material it would just start flowing into me. There was like a smooth rhythm to it. It feels so awesome and you get an awareness of “I’m totally getting this” I have adhd but the quietness of that library really helped my focus. My command of the materials was so good with just one out of hitting this flow state that I once predicted the future. As you read the text you could see the patterns in it when you were either given a key term then the definition or sometimes the material would giver you the definition first with the key term at the end. One day in class the syllabus probably told the teacher “separate the class and play a game using material from the current module” 4-chairs to a table was a team and she would just ask questions in rotation. It was super easy for me because the questions were all coming from the material I had been studying an hour a day in flow state and I had the answers immediately. Not super easy questions, I think we where doing the urinary system. It was getting so easy for me on I because I recognized the pattern on the next answer I gave I told the teacher something like “and the answer to your next question is glomerulonephritis” You should have seen the look on her face, it kind of freaked her out like a magic trick. She was amazed “HOW DID YOU JUST DO THAT?” Mean while the other kids in the class like throw the hands up in the air like f-this. “How are we supposed to be able to beat him when he already knows the answer BEFORE YOU ASK THE QUESTION!” As cool as it felt it was really just a lucky guess but the answer was hella specific and it was correct. I was then no longer allowed to play since the game was to help the students review and well, clearly I did not need to review. The only bad thing was towards the end I stopped wanting to go to class because I knew I could just learn more if i spent the 4 or 6 hours in the damn library. “Why did I spend 16K on this stupid school” That my friends is why all Corinthian college’s (Everest) student’s loans have been forgiven. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk

Honestly that's the employee conditioning. You "need" to make "money" through a corporation or business and you rely on them for a paycheck. It's a constant circle of paying the government with time, so that they pay you when they take a lot of money from you during.
