We weren’t given a fair hand in our situations because the people who were suppose to be our care takers didn’t know how to take care of us… or they did what they felt was the best they could. However, becoming the adult your inner child wanted allows for you to be there for that version of yourself. Give them uppies, let them lay their head on your should and let them cry. Whisper “I’m here for you now, and I won’t go anywhere. I’m always with you and we will work through how you feel together” . I’ve been doing this for almost a year and there has been so much more discovery, awareness, healing, and love that I can’t even begin to describe. Love yourself ❤

I felt the story of this anime without seeing it and i set out to find out what anime this was. it took me 8 years to find it because everyone in the comments already knew it. Hotarubi no mori e is and was the only anime i ever cried watching. i truly thank you for this.
