I finally have gotten around to the ephemera sent and I’m having fun with vintage journaling! Ordered digital images, which I will be sending you. Lighthouses are one of the destinations, Alan and I visit when we can. I will send you a pic of the grand ‘ole lighthouse Portland,,Maine. It’s absolutely gorgeous! You have quite a lovely batch of goodies to play with here. Now that I’m playing with vintage journaling, I see why so many folks are into it. Love this vintage sea themed kit. The lighthouse stamp looks so much like one of our coastal lighthouses. I love lighthouses!

Your new pages are fabulous! I loved my sea themed box, but did not use any of the rice paper, yet. I will now. Filling up the extra space with washi was brilliant! You have done it before, but I forgot to do it. I will now! I don't have any clue what I will do with those recipe pages. Have been including them in happy mail I will save some because I don't want to have a scaling brilliant idea once I' m out LOL. Loved the flip through; every page is stunning. TFS. I already used a lot of this YCS box in my journal diary. The ocean theme comes really handy when one lives on a relatively small island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean :-) Printing on the sticky notes is a nice idea. I have a hard time thinking beyond using it to write on ... Thank you! Your pages are lovely. I think the second stamp set was supposed to be another shell and a seahorse. At least that is what I got in addition to the lighthouse and shell. I am looking forward what you will do with the next YCS box(es). But for now I wish you a really nice holiday!

Hi Nina! I’ve missed your unboxing & creating with the YCS curated collections. I’m aware that postal costs and regulations have changed that prohibit some online companies from shipping to Europe/UK which is unfortunate. Since I first saw you use YCS collections early this year, I’ve continued to get them every month and have October thru December on order (my birthday gift from Mom). Although I absolutely love your handmade YCS journal, I knew that I didn’t have either the creative brain power nor supplies to create one similar to that so I am using a spiral bound Articka 8x8 Journal (with a number of pages removed) that will house a full year of YCS collections using 6 pages for each month and 5 pages for Title & Summary pages. The first 2 pages of every month use at least 1 item of everything I received in the box then the next 4 pages are layouts created using only the items from that month’s box. I was originally going to have extra pages in the back to create collages combining the various products but realized I wouldn’t have room before I actually had time to start the additional pages so… I will eventually use a separate journal for that. THANK YOU for inspiring me to begin this YCS journey that has brought me hours of enjoyment as well as given me special time with my Mom as we look through the contents of each box then show her what I did with them. Greetings from New Zealand. Hi Nina. Just to let you know that the double up on the stamps is a mistake. You are actually the second presenter to have this issue with this box. The second set of stamps should have been a scallop shell and a seahorse. Both about the same size as the other two stamps. Cheers.
