As a light skinned woman I have always thought that the darker skinned black womem are the most BEAUTIFUL females on the planet.. it's society that's messed up BLIND to the fact.. You ladies shine like no other .. Let me share a short true story w everyone.. I never knew my true color till I started school, the kids would call me YELLOW.. I asked my Mom why she politely said to me "It's cause you are lighter than most of th kids n you school.. My Mom is very dark so until she shared this fact w me I always thought I was her color It made me cry.. I always thought and still do see my Mom as the most beautiful woman I have ever known , God willing she will be 89 yrs young in October.. I pray whatever skin ur blessed to have pls know we are all LOVELY🎉❤

Omg I love my hair. I wore it out in a big full braid out yesterday and almost every time I wear it out I get tons of compliments, curious interesting looks. It’s a very unique experience. Also, even when we have fine hair, we have the privilege of our hair looking more full than other hair types. Ever since I’ve embraced my hair texture my hair days are much easier. I just wash, condition, moisturize, braid it up, wear that for a few days and then wear the braid out, and you’re right. Our hair holds style’s longer and better, especially when we don’t use heat and properly care for it at night, but god forbid we actually care for our hair texture. It’s crazy how grooming our hair to look good in it’s natural state is criticized. Like I said on your other video, they want us to look a mess so bad! They want our hair to be matted and tangled. If we can’t groom our hair then close down every beauty salon world wide then. And when I will press my hair it also looks nice and full, because my roots give it a lifted appearance. Our hair is perfect. I was playing with one strand of my hair yesterday, stretching it out and shrinking it back up and my straight hair Latino friend said he liked watching me play with my hair because I have fun hair 😇😊☺️

I've been natural for 15 years. My top 3 critics: 3. Teens 2. Older BW 1. *Hiapanic and Latin women* Number 1 surprised me! I didn't know they were concerned! 😄 I'm glad to see that with time, teens and older BW have embraced natural type 4 hair! BTW my top 3 fans: 3: Younger BW 2. Hispanic and Latin men 🤔 1. *Arab/Middle Eastern men* Again, number 1 surprised me! I did not know they were concerned! 😄

Thanks for commenting 🤎and number 1 on the critic list is surprising to me too…I wonder if it’s because our hair can’t be mimicked….Im also shocked by number 1and 2 on the positive list as well…that’s interesting….where are you from ? I hardly run into Arabs to notice their response to my hair🤎

Arabs are in every majority-black American neighborhood gas station, independent cell phone store, beauty supply stores and corner grocery stores. Perhaps this Sister also takes taxis? I'm a Southerner, in the South. Been au naturel 35 years. 👸🏾

I love your channel because you're inclusive to all BW (skinned tones, sizes, age, social status, demographic's, etc). However, you do make it clear that your channel's focus point is about uplifting dark skinned women, and I respect that 100%. I want to see dark skinned women win as they're the blue print to mankind. I thought dark skinned women were the first to be called exotic, or am I incorrect? In regards to your video, natural hair is becoming the standard of beauty. You remember when people disliked full lips, big boobs and big butts? Well, now people are aiming for those qualities, just like with 4c hair. I don't know about you and others, but it seems to be a shift going on from hair types like 1, 2 , 3 to type 4 hair. I keep seeing gorgeous black women wearing their natural hair out whenever I go to the city or smaller towns.

Thanks for commenting and I never heard black women be referred to as exotic or biracial women until more recent years. When I was going up exotic meant you were from a different country regardless of race. And I have definitely noticed a lot more women rocking their 4c hair and people gravitating towards embracing it🤎

I think you seem to think 4c hair is always thick but it's not. You can have fine, think 4c hair.

I love this! i’m becoming obsessed with wearing my natural hair (not needing to wear braids/add hair) 🩷 historically our hair has been demonized because of the power it holds and how fascinating it is.
