As a desert resident, I can tell you trees definitely don't change colors unless it rains (they look greener/prettier) or they get burned from the extreme weather (basically they die or are dying). The seasons have nothing to do with it. So yeah, the trees look weird in game :P

Ok so, I started my first legacy challenge a cupple days ago because of this series (and I also put it on short life span). So my sim was pregnant and really broke, so she went to work (she was in her third trimester by the way), and she comes back home early and I get a notification that she’s gone into labor! I freaked out because I had like a two by two room for the kid because that was all I could afford😅. So I sent her to the hospital, and it says “congratulations it’s a boy!” So I named him, then out of nowhere it says “congratulations it’s a girl!” I was really shocked cause I’d never had twins before in the sims (I never get my sims pregnant). So I name her and then it says the same thing “congratulations it’s a girl!” Then I really freak out and basically scream, because I just had triplets and I only have $21. (Just a reminder, my sim was single was single.)😂

You should get a basketball hoop and make her dream big, every time you do that it will bring up her skill HALFWAY.

Yeah in the desert area, stuff that isn’t evergreen does get brown, we get like two days of fall colors and then it’s just brown and bare tress (plus the palm trees looks pretty wilted and sad)

I agree with what you said about the festivals - although my sims mostly stay at home it’s SO cool whenever I bring them to the festivals .. festivals in the sims 4 are lowkey underrated

FYI, in the real desert (Phoenix), everything blooms and is simply beautiful in the fall (and winter and spring) things die and turn brown in summer (which lasts about 6 months)

I live in Arizona and the desert literally gets more green. Flowers bloom, maybe a few trees change leaves and go dormant, and it’s 70-80 degrees. So it’s habitable is what I’m saying 😂
