Hey girl! Just wanted to comment and say that me and my siblings were homeschooled our whole life until and I have the best memories of my childhood! All three of us went to the University of Texas, my sister graduated from college and went to med school at 20 and is now a doctor, my brother is an electrical engineer and I'm an RN! It's absolutely doable. My parents just went out of their way to make sure we had socialization as well :)

I love the candy thing you mentioned! My mom had something called "SATURDAY NIGHT CANDY" when my sisters and I were little. Each Saturday we had these little tiny candy bowls that my mom would divvy different candies into and we'd sit and watch a movie together with our own candy bowls--so candy was a once a week event. This is something I'd definitely like to implement when I have kids and maybe it could be a good idea for Riley and Jackson, too! ♥

as I type this comment you already have over 100k subscribers! Big congrats Kayla! I appreciate that you mentioned you don't base all your decisions on views and subscriber numbers because I really enjoy your DITL vlogs and hope you can continue to produce them often. Obviously the financial aspect is important but I feel that a lot of youtubers changed once they become famous.

So excited that you're super close to 100k!! You definitely deserve to keep growing! Seeing a notification about a new upload is what I look forward to as a busy mum of 2. My goal for 2021 is to "try" and not stress over the little things (because I stress over literally everything and get anxiety about everything). Love your new hair by the way (saw on your IG!)

Definitely show us your survivalist stuff- I think that’s something everyone should keep in mind. Obviously it’s not healthy to be paranoid, but it’s wise to be prepared for worst case scenario.... cause this world is crazy & that’s just facts lol

I’ve heard good things about the good and the beautiful curriculum as well. It’s what I think I’m going to use to ease into homeschooling. It’s supposedly very friendly to first time homeschoolers

I just started homeschooling my 3 year old daughter. Riley is a week older than her. We use mother goose time curriculum which is a monthly themed subscription box. This month’s theme is dinosaurs. Everything you need is in the box. They make sure to hit the skills necessary at their age so social & emotional, physical and motor, language & literacy, math & reasoning, science, social studies, and creative arts. It keeps learning fun for the kids. They also have a Christian pack you can add on to it. I combined that curriculum with Jady A’s curriculum. She is a homeschool mom and her kids know how to read by 3. She’s amazing and gives a lot of great tips. She has her own KZfaq channel I would recommend watching her videos and if you like her teaching style she also has curriculum book/ guide which I’m also loving! Hope this helps 😊❤️

Love love love your videos girl thank you for the motivation! Soooooo seriously needed a good productive discussion about goals and staying on track. I'm new to being a stay at home mom since covid, I have 2 girls, a15 month old and a 12 year old and I feel so defeated most days trying to juggle a preteen and a soon to be toddler. Just wanted to say girl you ate doing the dang thing, glad to have stumbled on your page🤗

Hey Kayla! I’m a homeschool mama and also was homeschooled for jr high and high school! I loved it! I learned so much about money, cooking, cleaning, and life skills. I had a wonderful home life ♥️🙏🏼 my son is 4.5 and I’ve been doing preschool at home with him for the last two years, this year is a mix of preschool and kindergarten. I’d recommend the good and the beautiful but it’s also totally possible to make your own curriculum. Remember they learn soooo much through play too! We do about 45 minutes of school a day and that’s it :) good luck, Riley is so lucky to have you to be her teacher!
