Thank you for the insight John, I'm currently preparing for my SC-200 exam. No prior certificates with MS so Ill probably take the MD102 right after then AZ900 just for formality, reason I jumped into the SC 200 was to take advantage of the discount voucher🤣. So I'll take it as an opportunity to do better, appreciate the content. 💯

Interesting MD-102, a few days ago picked that one for the next cert. Already have AZ-900/MS-900 along with AZ-104, currently on AZ-700.

Thanks John. I personally found SC-100 easier than SC-200 and SC-300 to be honest. Don't have the MS-102 or MD-102 I might look at this after I have finished working on another Cert that is non Microsoft. If I do I will certainly be using your courses. Always appreciate you putting these videos up

Always love your video's and Udemy courses! This video shocked me a bit not so much the security stuff as it coved all of Microsoft's current security videos but with the MD-102 being on here. I can only take this as more and more companies are waking up to the fact that SCCM is on it's way out and they are starting to look to the future before Microsoft releases that end of life notice on it and they are forced into panic mode lol.

Yeah not seeing SCCM be the dominate force of device management is painful for me. Loved the product so much. Don’t get me wrong, I love Intune as well, but SCCM has always been such a fantastic product. And thanks a lot for the kind words!

@@examlabpractice The kind words are deserved your work has helped me pass a couple certification exams and expand my career. SCCM I loved as well. IT was way ahead of MDT in it's overall options but the limitation of controlling machines remote not connected to a VPN was it's killer. The events of the last couple of years really showed us that SCCM needed to be able to manage these devices and with VPN being used less and less it SCCM hits a design limit that they could not have seen when it was developed. I loved it as well, much better then veritas imaging from my experience. Thanks again for the great video's training and insight from experience. Greatly appreciated.

Just got my MS 900, about to write the AZ 900 in a week, then going for the AZ 104. Then it's job time. I will have the following certs (with 8 years of existing IT support experience). * A+, N+, MS 900, AZ 900, AZ 104. (then going for the AZ 800/801 - lots of places will be running a Hybrid Environment, or the MD 102 - not sure which one as of yet!) * BND/HND/BSc in Computing (Inactive certs: MCSA 3k / MTSC Win7 / MCP XP) I have used your videos for the MS 900 / AZ 900, this is the first source material, as you explain things in an easy-to-understand manner, great work. Can I ask, what do you think about the AZ 800/801 when compared to the MD 102, in terms of content and potential employer appreciation. Thanks John!

Hi Meg (lol nice nickname - I love Legend) I have MD-102 and will test for MS-102 this month, yielding M365 Administrator Expert. I’m trying to also decide to go for AZ-800+801. I feel these would also be valuable to evidence the ability to support on-prem, since there are still tons of on-prem companies. I think all 4 certs must be worth their weight in gold.

@@deedee219 Hi deedee, AZ-800 vs AZ-104 is a question whether or not you want to support on-prem vs cloud-hosted server systems I believe.

@@Man0fMeans I've been in retail for a few years, now going back into IT - but, from what I've seen, especially in the IT Educational industry, and from friends etc - On-prem infrastructure is still going to make up a large part businesses, as the expense and unfamiliarity of moving over to Cloud is a big step for some small to medium sized business. I would suggest (without having accurate data, so an assumption) that Hybrid sets will be here for a good while longer before full cloud solutions are employed - so the Windows Server Hybrid Admin cert is a good call. And, to be honest - all my experience is with on-prem setups, I kinda don't want to see it go! 🤣

@@Man0fMeans Considering AZ-800/801, really matches up in ways to MCSA/MCSE in server 2016 which I have. MD-102 is next after AZ-700.

This video is focused on Microsoft 365 certs as opposed to Azure certs. I did mention that at the beginning of the video, but you may have missed it. I included AZ-900 in the list because I feel it's important to have an Azure foundation for Microsoft 365. Hi John I'm trying to find a Microsoft cert that i can learn more about configuring/deploying/managing ms 365 or SharePoint or exchange...is there such a thing? or it's all scattered between different certifications? I do have few azure certificates under my belt but none related directly to Microsoft 365 exchange and all the ones i mentioned earlier....i'm not planning to be a Microsoft 365 admin but i do like to learn and expand my certificates and knowledge in this area too. Much appreciated and thank you

Unfortunately Microsoft got rid of the SharePoint cert a few years back and just recently got rid of the exchange cert in December. For you, I would recommend the path of MS-900, MD-102, then MS-102. MS-900 is Microsoft 365 foundation MD-102 is Destop Administration (Intermediate and is a pre-req needed for expert) MS-102 is Micrsoft 365 expert and you will learn some sharepoint and messenger

I struggle a bit to find the right Microsoft / Azure roadmap for me. I have passed AZ-900 and SC-900 last year and I am currently preparing for SC-300. The goal is the SC-100 certification by next year but I am not sure what certificates I should add to my portfolio on the way. Was considering to take SC-200, SC400 and AZ-500 (which appears to be a mix of SC-200 and SC-300?). But taking on so many certs does look a bit of an overkill to me? I want to avoid taking courses that only cost money and time... Any advice?

SC-300 is a fine plan for now. Then maybe SC-400 and after that you would be safe to take SC-200 and then SC-100. If I were you I would take AZ-104 before going after AZ-500.
