I've been working in IT for a few years now and didn't know a lot of GPO stuff, but this was excellent! Does the GPO update time still take 90-120 minutes if you run the gpupdate /force command right after creating a new policy?

I passed my MS-102 exam! The course was very detailed and covered all the necessary topics. I also did several practice exams from S-killcertpro for a week and reviewed their exam notes the day before the test. Nearly 80% of the questions came from these sets. The exam isn’t as easy as it might seem, so I highly recommend doing plenty of practice tests until you're really familiar with the content.

Before one drive they had an option for folder redirection. we used it for xdrive for user data and sdrive was shared location user could login to multiple devices and it would map the locations

someone at Dell HP or Lenovo has to image these devices and HD replace you will need an image installed.

I purchased two of your Udemy courses, SC-900 and AZ-500, in June. I today passed the Microsoft Azure Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900) exam (900/1000) and passed my AZ-900 on 7th June (873/1000) The AZ-900 experience did help somewhat for SC-900. Microsoft learning and Udemy were used for both, along with 200+ practice free questions for both exams. Next up, I need to decide on doing MS-900 or going straight onto AZ-104 or AZ-500, which will no doubt be a real test, but one I look forward to tackling. Do you have an opinion on whether I should move onto AZ-500 next, or should I do AZ-104 before AZ-500? I did try to find Microsoft exam vouchers for the UK unsuccessfully, I need to invest in myself, though, if I wish to secure a cloud role this or next year. Thanks to your excellent Udemy course, I passed. I look forward to taking my next course with you.

Correction (@33 mins): 365 is a SaaS service only. Azure is IaaS and PaaS services PaaS are services were you only manage the app and data not the hosting and what comes with it. for example with Azure VM(IaaS) you manage the hosting of it including whatever you have the VM built for like a web application or a sql server but Azure App Service which is a PaaS solution for hosting say a web app, you dont have an OS to also manage (hardware, updates, etc), you go directly into managing the app itself. Or if its a database you use Azure SQL if you are working with databases without an OS to manage it, which is also PaaS. Similarly Logic Apps in Azure is a PaaS version of Power Automate in 365 (which is its SaaS varient). You have to manage many more layers with PaaS than with SaaS. What you described as PaaS (the apps like excel installed) are just... software... or applications. Managing them does not make them a PaaS nor is Exchange Online PaaS. You cant delete Exchange Online as a resource. It exists whether you sign up for it or not. Microsoft manages nearly all elements of it, you dont have to worry about making exchange online redundant across regions, you dont have to make backups, thats what microsoft provides. You just configure its settings for use as a SaaS solution (configuration and user management rather than the platform management seen in PaaS offerings). The same applies for the rest of the 365 solutions you mentioned. A good way to look at it is say I sell the product Exchange. SaaS is a service I provided to my clients who signed up. Including the admins who get to architect their own domain's configuration on it that is isolated from other customers. They don't manage exchange itself that I sell as a product just what I allow their admins to configure for their bucket of space in the service. They cant affect the underlining things that run the service and affect other customers. My Exchange product could even be built on PaaS solutions (your exchange data sits inside sql servers in Azure SQL, your web experience is in App Services, You connect to it's URL with another PaaS solution called front door which acts as a public load balancer, layer 7 WAF, CDN, globally, etc. With azure storage(PaaS) that stores the images you see load up when you open the portal (like the banner, logos, icons, etc). That being said, my friend you have a talent in teaching. Keep it up! You explained defender really well.
