Kelsey, I am a recently retired Airline Pilot of 31 years and have been watching your videos for some time. I want to say that your videos are always entertaining, 100% accurate and relevant. Watching them kind of makes me feel like I'm still flying. You explain situations with an uncommon clarity and maintain a professional and humble demeanor. Despite some rude and unnecessary comments, It's obvious to me that you are an outstanding crew member and it would certainly be a pleasure flying with you. Thank you, keep it up please and enjoy your career.

I think anybody who would write a negative comment on such an informative channel as Kelsey's is an idiot. I used to hitchhike a lot when I lived in Japan, and I was delighted to get picked up once by 747 pilot! I also got picked up a couple times by helicopter piots, and once by a Self Defense Force fighter pilot. He told me it's not fun flying a fighter jet. The G force is hard on his body.

Well, actually he said "die in a plan crash", so maybe he meant that a program like Microsoft Project could crash so hard that it would be fatal for the user. it is pretty terrible software, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Some of these comments absolutely blow my mind Kelsey. I cannot imagine saying some of these things to my worst enemy, let alone a random guy on KZfaq who is just trying to share some of his life with us strangers who are interested in what a commercial pilot's life is really like. I hope you realize that the majority of us watching your videos (as proven by your extremely high like to dislike ratio) absolutely love the content you put out and appreciate the effort. Your healthy attitude to the trolling is great to see, it would be so easy to take it to heart. I hadn't really thought about it until watching these 'mean' videos but I actually watch your videos as much for your face as the aviation discussion. Any one that works with the puplic sees this kind of stuff. I used to be a security guard. You want to see some crazy, deranged mean people go to a kids baseball game. I had dealings with gang members that were more rational and civil then some parents.

I just found your channel yesterday, Ive probably watched about 20 vids already and I have no interest in aviation. Your content is enjoyable, informative, interesting, and amusing. As long as you enjoy making them please continue to do so. I never commented here until I watched this "mean comments video." It makes me sad when people write unnecessary and hurtful comments about others. Im glad you have such a great attitude about it, you have my respect. Boiling owl is quite popular in Deliverance country ;) I once pondered why we don't eat seagulls (while they were harassing me for hot chips.) Then I found a recipe for seagull soup, as follows: Take a large pot, fill with water, add two seagulls and one brick. Remove the seagulls and simmer. I imagine boiled owl is much like boiled seagull?

I’ve flown countless times, but only as a passenger. I find the insights on the channel almost addictive. I’ve had a few interesting experiences as a passenger that you have brilliantly explained. There are also lessons to be learned here about dedication, being knowledgeable about one’s craft and never giving up. I’ve never had a fear of flying, but knowing that there are very knowledgeable, competent and calm people at the helm only reenforces my sense of security. Great channel! Thank you!

I’m not a pilot, but love the videos. It gives those of us in the back an appreciation for what goes on in the cockpit and fills in the gaps in my flying experiences that I wondered “what the heck is going on up there?” 😀. Now cruising through 56 years of age and having been involved in various aspects of aviation from ground crew in the RAF to rear seat crew in SAR and now a regular passenger on commercial flights, your work here is tremendous. To me, being a Pilot has always gone hand in hand with a higher level of professionalism. You maintain that professionalism but bring a level of communication that is clear for all to hear and most importantly, to understand. I enjoy your videos immensely, keep up the great work and if your ever walking out of the cockpit on a plane I'm on, I'll be sure to shake your hand (covid permitting lol!).

I started watching because I'm a beginner pilot (with 3 whole hours of logged time in a Piper Warrior.... wow!). I've certainly learned a lot. I'm a professional musician who's working on his KZfaq presence. As such, I started paying attention to the ways you assemble/edit your videos. I'm always impressed by the relaxed vibe that comes across. You're very articulate and engaging. For those watching this channel and tempted to criticize, try posting one video a week for a year. Easy to sit back and comment. Harder to put yourself out there. Congrats for a great channel brother!

I learned to fly in Chipmunks and Bulldogs with the RAF. I think your videos are fascinating and show a little of the job that I probably was not capable of. Great job. Keep it up.

Hi, Kelsey! I really enjoy your videos. You've inspired me to try becoming a pilot! I wanted to know if you could make a video detailing what the scheduling is like for a pilot and how you manage that. What is your time management like? What do you do, and how much discipline have you developed from the job vs. Already having? I'm really curious about the day to day grind, and if I can handle it. 😅 I understand that taking care of yourself becomes a much bigger priority when you've got hundreds of lives and your own in your hands. Also, is adrenaline a big influence on your body's chemistry as a pilot?

I really enjoy your videos. Very entertaining and informative. Glad the rude comments don’t get you down. It is a shame that the company/FAA doesn’t let you video in the cockpit in flight. But I can see the reason why those rules exist. Keep up the great work.

The meanest KZfaq comment I ever got was right here on your channel; someone said on my comment about your single pilots vid that while I “might” be one of the under 10% of women who can actually feel human emotions, the odds are against it. Gotta say, “boiled owl” beats that hands down! 😂 And i can barely see my eyebrows too!
