KZfaqr goes incommunicado after police register case over inappropriate remarks
The Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB), investigating the case of KZfaqr Praneeth Hanumanthu making inappropriate comments on a video about a father and daughter, said all his phones were switched off.
“He is a native of Andhra Pradesh; we have to ascertain if he is operating from there,” said an official from the bureau on condition of anonymity. Efforts were on to arrest him, the official added.
Meanwhile, joining the list of actors from the Telugu film industry taking it to ‘X’ to post against the KZfaqr’s comment, actor Sudheer Babu said he “felt disgusted to have him casted in his latest movie”.
“For good or bad, I’m not a social media guy nor do I keep up with things. I feel so disgusted by the fact we had #PraneethHanumanthu casted in #HaromHara. Sincere apologies from me and my entire team... We should make sure these sick minds shouldn’t have a platform for the filth they wanna (sic) spread. This isn’t freedom of speech by any means,” he wrote.

I don't think he deserves harsh punishment for a comment or short bro. I second that he is usually a positive guy who roasts questionable content. A warning or fine is enough. An undertaking that he won't make such content on children should be taken to show that government is taking a serious stand on this. Vulgarity in his content is increasing. I can accept adult humor but some of his shorts and comments are disgusting. The backlash he is facing is enough I think. Government should make strong laws regarding the portrayal of children on media. As grown up we have to pass through unavoidable crap but at least children should be kept away from these and their sanctity should be upheld.

I guess I am the only one who is not as much triggered as others. But yeah, the father and daughter joke was disgusting. I didn't know why they did this. Most of their content is fine. Dark comedy should be on life, death and pain but not on children even more so in such vulgar way. They clearly crossed the line with this. I watch their content and the vulgarity was increasing for sometime. Some jokes are downright disgusting. I guess the social backlash is enough. They should not be mobbed or jailed or subjected to violence based on this. It is good that this much discussion and agitation is taking place. Other creaters will be careful from now in making content.
