It's not necessary, but what it adds is quite useful as it let's you set up interruptions from the GY if your worried about board breakers like DRNM, Evenly, droplets etc

Everyone has deferent experiences with it, mine playing 3 has never worked out and always been bad, even more so with droll running around as multiple gates get you no where and you can't activate gates if under droll as its mandatory to add.

⁠@@zephyrwargamesyugiohI think at that point you just have to hope to see the outs to droll, since it’s always been such a powerful card, rarely is it ever non-viable. If you’re hit with droll, you likely just lose. Also, consider the fact that if you normal summon beckoning and it gets hit, that’s the big turn killer, especially if you don’t play almiraj. Also, there’s 6 of those. There’s more veiler and imperm than there are drolls, and some people aren’t even playing droll. I’m not sure if you know about the chaos core or the chaos summoning beast, because that is what makes the opening so good. Playing around/through veiler and imperm are the most important things you can do for the deck, and so I don’t think cutting almiraj is the move. Then again, I could be very wrong. This is some of my own thinking, some of competitive players’. I did only recently come onto Yubel though, after coming to the realization that now is the time to invest in it since Tenpai’s lifespan is very short

It's targets are great but the fact it's a open it or nothing, half LP and the fact prosp helps you dig for a starter or protector in crossout or called is my preferred choice, but that's obv personal preference
