Zach Osborne is still racing but more for fun and supporting the Husqvarna brand as an ambassador. Husqvarna took a TC250 and went full tilt to turn it into a 300cc two stroke weapon for the Dubya 2 Stroke World Championships at Glen Helen Raceway. As soon as we saw the bike we wanted to test it for the magazine. Some components you can't purchase like the custom handlebars, front brake master cylinder, carbon components, custom seat, factory parts inside the engine, and more. You might be surprised on how many parts you can purchase though! This bike was built specifically for Zach to race and you can tell by the ultra stiff suspension and cut seat foam. Follow along with Assistant Editor Josh Mosiman as he walks you through the details of this special bike and what it was like to ride on the track. We didn't even wash this bike! We wanted it exactly the way Osborne left it after racing. Enjoy.

Zach is a class act, my kids and I just met him at the Walton Transcan in Canada. We are a Husky family and Husqvarna arranged for a meet and greet. My kids were stoked and even more excited that he rode Auburn Hills before Walton for his instagram where my kids will be racing next weekend (track is only open 3 weekends a year and was closed for 8 years)

I watch as much bike tests as I can. Some look slow some look fast. That thing looks like a bullet. Would love to see that legal in pro racing.

Now get zacho to use his juicy as well as 22reed and get AMA to rewrite the cc displacement bs rules and allow big bore tbi fuel injected smokers to race with thumpers . 300+ with 450s and 250 with 250fs 🙌🏾🙌🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

I cant wait , i currently race a 81 Husky CR250 , 84 Husky CR250 83 Husky CR500 1988 Cagiva WMX 250 and a 91 Husky/Cagiva WMX 125 !!!!! BRAAAAAAP

If only you could graft in the Husky 250 Mag sound. I can hear it right now. My favorite song back in the day. That and the big bore Maicos.

That thing could be so much more with plush suspension and a heavier crank. I've never seen a tuner settle that 300 kit down enough to be effective.

Josh, that would be interesting to know if you think you would have gotten better results with that bike compared to the “stock” Gasgas 250 that you raced? Your bike was probably easier to ride for 20min and the suspensions were more plush I’m sure. How would you compare those two bikes?

You're correct with your assumptions. His bike was super fast and stiff, but I was definitely better off on my bike because I could ride it harder for 20 mins

I understand the theme but that is the ugliest pro bike I've seen probably ever. Looks like when a bike gets stolen in the hood and they just spray paint everything. Yuck
