It's clearly the best game of his career. He was composed and decisive. You saw flashes of it before during certain games, like KC, but here you saw it the whole game. And that was despite them not scoring any points in the first half. Even when they didn't score, he still looked good. Really feels like it could be a turning point for him, but he's gotta show that he can do it again. In his career, he has not shown that yet.

Lack of consistency is his problem, but that is true of the Jets , generally. I despair some weeks. Last week was pure agony.

@@truone637 Of course it was still bad. You have 3rd stringers out there that are only playing because we've seen a historical amount of injuries on that oline there. And yeah his mobility is a strength. But the extension of plays is not always a good thing. Being quicker with your decision making is a good thing.

@@Kickingit06 Thats a silly statement dude. I've been waiting years to see us get even a good QB. Its clear that Zach isnt that and its why the team pretty much moved on from him after last season. The fact that fans still have to have these same conversations about him is flat out ridiculous. And yeah the oline has been bad but a lot of that falls on him too. If a QB cant be quick in his decision making, it makes an lineman's job harder. It also increases the risk of injury. Hence our record setting IR in that area. Do you think thats just a coincidence? Bad QB play makes everyone else on the team look bad. What a shock that yesterday the entire team looked great when Zach started playing well. We all know he can do that but he cant do it consistently. Would've been nice if he did that against the Chargers or the Raiders a few weeks ago but then again the pressure was on him in those games. And he crumbled like he always does. Maybe he needs to play for a team like Jacksonville or LA where no one expects anything and fans forget about a loss as soon as the games over.

Carter definitely should’ve been in at right tackle not turner but over all pretty decent of course tippman did well others were okay becton didn’t do as well as normal

Its also amazing that olinemen arent dropping like flies cause he got rid of the ball in 1.5 seconds instead of holding it forever. I guess fans cant realize that the chance of injury for everyone is much higher when a play lasts for 15 seconds instead of 5.

Watch 1:56 the entire right side get's absolutely embarrassed, they are completely out of their league. They are definitely one of the worst lines in the game, the interior line is constantly getting bull rushed straight back into the QB, and the tackles are getting beat inside. There's not a single QB in the league that could make lemonade with those lemons...

Moron, jets are a very well respected and high functioning organization, easily top 15 in the nfl. Nothing dysfunctional about them.

Yes and no. They completely changed the game plan in the 2nd half. They went to a heavy play action pass offense. Typically our offense tries to incorporate a run game, even though our run game is abysmal. For example, against the Raiders we ran the ball on 1st and 2nd and goal from the 10 yard line in the red zone for zero gain. In the same game, after Wilson threw for 100 yards in the 1st quarter, the subsequent drive was all runs. Wilson didn't get a pass until the end of the 2nd quarter and lost his rhythm. In today's game, in the red zone from the 10, Zach had three passes. Seven yard Completion, throw away and touchdown on 3rd down. The team was much more disciplined today and the receivers were dropping the ball much less. Only Wilson had one drop today.

The O-line gave him time today. And receivers caught the ball. Fix the O-line. And you'll see more of this Zach.

The O-line needs to keep giving him time and the receivers had SOME space for the ball. Sure some deep balls or immediate passes can help the check downs but it’s the offensive line that needs to step up
