Im happy with its performance ZD30 is not a show off type but does the job, no major mods maybe that’s why it’s not giving me any headache

@@4X4Pride I respect that. Maybe that’s why they have such a bad rep. People are trying to bust the same amount of power out of it as a tb48 and a 3.0 4cyl can’t handle that. Also I heard they got better once they became common rail instead of direct injection

Up the mighty rd! Hahahah sounds better than td42 T, slow but mighty it gets the job done just at a slower pace .. if it had better fuel economy it’d be my perfect set up hahah

@@OZOZOZ968 me tb45 gets 37L per 100kms the rd28 gets 13L per 100, with petrol prices as they are the rd is cheaper than the 45

That was a 3” Rhino exhaust straight, that got rusted and brackets separated now I changed to Redback Hope that helps Cheers

@@4X4Pride sick, im from southwest and have been looking at 4bys for like 8 months now getting more and more tizzed at the market going up reckon the zd30 goes alright? im tossing up between a good looking GU or waiting for an el cheapo 75 series to come up or troop, but donno if the money i save on puchase will just instantly go into fixing it up so, buy a ready to roll patrol, or buy a cruiser that WILL need stuff done to it. leaning towards just getting the patrol and going, then later buying a farm banger if i want a ute in the future, just spooked by the stories about the zd30

@@FJaypewpew ZD30 is not a bad engine as long as u don’t abuse it and service regularly Mine’s already 130k and i always service/ change oil every 5k Hope it helps Cheers

Reef Beach by the looks of it? I have a crd gu myself, manual with exhaust bigger cooler and a custom tune done and goes bloody well and reliable as for the most part with regular maintenance. That sort of terrain is my favourite to drive too!!!
