Just bought a bidet attachment (LUX Neo 320). I'm working away at my sustainable living list of items. The last item I bought was a fountain pen and ink. Before that was my safety razor. Next item is some stasher bags.

Last fall we threw some pumpkins in the flower bed. They decomposed very nicely and this past fall we had our own mini pumpkin patch with 5 nice sized pumpkins. We now have those back in the flower bed along with seeds from the sunflowers we grew last summer. Hopefully we will get some surprise results again this year.

It's not really a swap tip, but I'm making compost since last year. It helped prevent a lot of garbage. After awhile, you can even use it to fertilize your plants or your own garden. 🌱🌵

We switched to beeswax cloth wraps instead of plastic wrap. We use them for cheese, but i also use them for little sandwich bags or nut/snack bags for my kids You can fold and then put pressure and roll the edges and they stick. We especially picked a local crafter who makes them herself rather than a small brand that sources overseas. I've started using a cream deodorant made locally and packaged in little jam jars. So the jars are reusable! I'm curious about cotton thread floss. Haven't tried it yet though. But I thought that might be interesting. Have a GREAT WEEKEND~ ~Jj

Have you ever made your own deodorant? Three equal parts baking soda, cornstarch and coconut oil. And lavender essential oil. As many drops as you want, but at least ten. I do about a half cup of each. I love homemade stuff. Nut milks with just nuts and water are absolutely the best. ☮️💕

Hey! love your videos.... just a side not that bergamot essential oil is toxic to dogs (and I know you just got a new pup!). There's a huge list of essential oils that are toxic to pets (yup including tea tree oil), and it would be good to check it out before adding them to your DIY cleaning spray. I'm a vet student (so not making this up) and I thought I should let you know :) Stay safe!

Do you find the stasher bags easy to wash? Re: sewing/mending - I had to teach a coworker how to sew on a button at my last job. I used a straw because I didn't have a toothpick to hold the button to, and I sewed through the straw! I laughed. We all laughed.
