The guy who was complaining about you opening a Patreon is an idiot, so do not let it bother you!! They're the type of ppl that are never happy and find a way to complain about things that don't even effect them in any way. Great video as always!! 👍👍

I feel your pain in castings that fail. On my channel I sand cast pure silver. I have promised Leo 20 ounces of pure 9999 silver to make 2 medallions for Tally Ho when it is time for them. I do both Petrobond and that pricy Delft clay for pieces that come my way. Leo first has to send m a positive, 3D printed master I can work with. He/Leo and crew are so busy everyday with the build finalizing that incredible lady of the salt he wants to wait until he has finished and she floats free on the salt. We all need to be patient for now eh. YUP, I am a CANUCKIAN EH, LOL. My hat is off for you and your pattern maker. It would almost be a shame to get this all covered over with casting sand. I am curious to know if your going to use Green Sand or Petrobond ? Delft is far too pricey for a casting this big. THE FLU EH, I got lucky with it. I am in a wheelchair so I got all my shots this year and that allowed me to have only 3 days of YUCK.10 days is a really hard thing to have happen to a fella for sure. That lab of yours is a beauty when sleeping chasing rabbits in his sleep. Thanks a bunch and I will sub you up right now. Stop by for a bunch of small pouring. Like everything the smaller it is the harder it is to work with eh. Take care eh.

I would check with Leo again to see if he wants you to cast the piece in Bronze instead of iron. Leo has replaced most if not all iron on the original boat from Iron to bronze, such as the knees, floors, mast fittings and such. I would bet that Leo wants Bronze wherever he can have it on his new boat, except for the engine.
@joshua432147 ай бұрын
Iron is lighter and the original material. I would be surprised if he wanted this in bronze.

RE The Capstan - check with Leo. I think bronze would be an acceptable material. This is assuming it would help you with the casting process.

My friend, I hear that Covid can return several times after getting well. They suggested (doctors) to write date and how you felt/reacted. After 2 or 3 times take the paperwork to the doctor to inform him of some history. All take care.

It seems that most of the small foundries are backed up with work. I think that’s in part due to a sharp decline in small local foundries in the 70’s and an increase in restoration, repair and hobby wants.

What you do is an extremely demanding profession, get healthy, then you will get your head back in the game, you can’t rush fine work! Like the old saying :”you can have fast, cheap or right, pick two!” It looks to me that you fully understand the fact that you want to have the product come out RIGHT!

A dog that snores, LMAO🤣 Get you some fresh lemons and local raw and unfiltered honey go about three parts purified water to one part lemon juice and about four tablespoons of honey or you're liking. This will knock that cough right out of you and give your immune system a very good boost, hope you all get better.
