Adrien and Zoe: *make up the courage to confess in a few episodes Marinete: *takes four and a half seasons

The episode wasn't all bad, but it has many inconsistencies, like Sabrina refusing to steal because everything her father taught her even though she has already stolen before, or Marinete presenting her room to Zoe saying that she has never been there even though Zoe has been in the fourth season. It's like the people who wrote this episode were emergency newbies who didn't have time to rewatch the show 😅

The first time I really thought about Zoe being in love with Marinette was in "Transmission" and I got that feeling even further from her action in the cafeteria in "Deflagration". I'm glad it's confirmed now :)

One thing that I found interesting about the episode is how people have different adoration for the people they love. For Andre he has an unhealthy adoration for Audrey as we can see, Zoe and Adrien has a healthy adoration for Marinette like Marinette has for Adrien, and even Sabrina for her friendship with Chloe as we see how dependent she is over it that is an unhealthy adoration. Hell, even the staff at the hotel have a nice adoration for Zoe as we see and probably like her more than Chloe 😂😂😂.

I realize Zoè fell under the 'Gay Girl falls for the Straight Girl' trope😅😅😅😅 And Zoè and the rest of the class are actually high schoolers

I know they just wanted to create drama, but seriously, how does everyone believe in Chloe without even a doubt and expeling Marinette from school right away? How her own parents do not even doubt even though in the third season the same thing happened and it was proven that Marinete did nothing? They could at least remain serious in this scene. If I were Marinete I wouldn't trust any of these people in the same way anymore and would be very happy to leave that school...

I personally find zoe and marinate relationship super wholesome n healthy. If adrienete doesn't exist I'd have ship them together for sure .

In some county's they make it that zoé wants to be Marinette bestest friend.

+5:56 I doubt Marinette would be 'disgusted by Zoe', when Marinette is the definition of a "Disaster Bi". We've seen her be low key shipped with and poly shipped with Kagami (Andre says as much in Miracle Queen & again more recently even if he stick the "Friend" label on it he still says it when they are buying Ice Cream) Then Marinette was all over Fei too. Not to mention the many times she's flirted with Alya. Though I do think Marinette might not be entirely aware all the time she's doing it. Heck some even suggest that Marinette's romantic obliviousness rival's Adrien's and could even be part of the reason Chloe's so salty with her now. It certainly makes Chloe a lot more interesting if Chloe's angry with Marinette not because she wants Adrien for herself, she wants some emotional connection to Marinette even if it's a toxic one.

I just love rewatching Sole Crusher just to point out the signs of love at first sight coming from Zoe there. She' s such a sweet girl! When she said "I know that I'm different" I guess we all knew what that meant. Season 5 is all about extremes and having a lesbian declaring to her was the right perspective that Mari needed to turn her own tables!

I thought it was pretty Obvious that Zoe had a thing for Marinette, we see her looking at her in that way as soon as she meets her and the whole phone number thing was such a visual metaphor too. There is a slight problem though. 1. She also looked at Scarabella and Kagami like that too making her look kinda Thirsty 2. They strongly implied that Jess is or was her Girlfriend so she basically transferred her feelings to Marinette in less than a day. 3. She also didn't seem bothered that Cat Noir was flirting with Vesperia. So I guess I will have to just put it down to Alya as Rena Rouge flirting with Cat Noir not being a major impact on her supposed preference for Nino. But the problem I have here is I think the show has given itself a needless problem with Romantic disloyalty that totally undermines the show, as much as forgetting Ladynoir was ever a thing is an issue too. The show has serious memory problems. Like seriously just look at Marinette's "romantic journey" it make very little sense. I can not see how some one who is an obsessed stalker about Adrien can also flip flop to be showing an interest in Luka and even Fei as well. I mean seriously she was all over Fei, and the entire plot is that she is stalking Adrien. That makes Marinette look so disloyal. and then the same with Zoe, if Zoe was "in Love with" or dating Jess then why the heck would she flip to Marinette a day later, and also be seen flirting with Alya and heck she was even hanging off Nino, and it isn't just someone being friendly like Ivan was. The show had me wondering are they trying to put Zoe in a Poly ship with Nino and Alya or something ? what was even weirder is Alya just stood and watched as Nino and Zoe were hanging off each other, and this is after some time previously Nino was hanging off Juleka too. & Zoe stood looking at Kagami like she was made of chocolate none of that makes any sense. What is Nino emotional support for Lesbians now or something ? Also I guess it's handy that Chloe stayed in her room during the trip to New York or Sparrow might have wanted to say hi to the sister of the person they wrote "I Love you" on their shoe. ------- For those who see Zoe as a Hammered in KO Chloe the whole father daughter bonding thing Andre and Zoe get just make it look like they are "robbing" Chloe yet again. It's like Thomas is hitting that girl with a lump hammer then telling everyone she's evil, as we see her being broken into pieces. as Sabrina, her Parents and her friends are all stripped away by ill intent. They even had her "symbolically" throw away Mr. Cuddly, changed the Butler's name to make her look bad, and gave the Butler a Daughter/Girlfriend/Wife Zoe mentioned so that we can say that The Butler was "transferring" affection to Chloe, when really what they actually did was provide an excuse to see him abandon her, and also in this Surrogate Daughter relationship Zoe has stolen Bother of them off Chloe. So what next Zoe steals Sabrina too ? I get it Thomas you hate Chloe, fine, but if you keep doing things to her you won't make me hate her you will just make Adrien and Marinette look selfish and look like you are attacking her. He even excused himself from it on Twitter in a sense claiming that he can do what he likes to her as she is or was a bully. I mean seriously until season 4, what others did to Chloe was way worse that what Chloe ever did to them, they had to make her a consciously attempt to murder a whole boat full of people, and eraise Instagram to excuse it though. Instagram Chloe wouldn't commit murder or attempt too, she's broken not homicidal (that is Kagami's job LOL).

If, for some crazy reason, the writers actually decide to not have Adrien be the endgame for Marinette, then I want Zoe to be her endgame. I just love their interactions, and it feels like there’s a genuine connection. The only thing stopping it is the fact that Marinette is in love with Adrien, but it definitely feels like the writers are hinting that Zoe is more than just another friend to Marinette, regardless of whether Marinette would have any romantic feelings for her.
