The Zombicide: Undead or Alive tile is a print out of one of those shared by CMON during the Kickstarter campaign (which I am a backer of), and has been featured elsewhere on my channel, using another potential idea for achieving a 3D feel for your games.
The old West Stage, Freight and Telegraph Office featured very heavily customised to fit the Z:UoA Tile but the original design was purchased online as a downloadable PDF file from www.modelbuildings.org which I have modified in Photoshop to convert it from 00 Gauge scale (1:76) to 28mm scale (1:48) and then further significantly modified to match the dimensions of the Z:UoA Tile design.

Excellent work. I was planning to do something similar using Whitewash City papercraft terrain and cardstock. It's nice to see a working version like this👍

oh my - I really want this! Obviously I'd love to have plastic terrain but painting isn't my forte and the fact this packs down is amazing!

I have a follow-up I'm working on making "flat pack wood" buildings... Now my boat has finally come in, up be working on these and testing what actually "works" IRL 😜

Looks great, but I quickly realized that's very difficult to play this game with 3D buildings. Too many models always moving around in very tight areas.

One of the design ideas I had but not got around to testing was effectively putting a roof on top that becomes the room (s) to play on...

@@familymeeple That may work. It's a shame because I love gaming with awesome terrain, and I love Zombicide; sadly they just don't work well together. Keep it up. Cheers!

蛮有创意的,但是玩的时候好像不是很方便啊😂

I confess, this being my first Zombicide and still awaiting receipt of my game, I'm yet to have the opportunity to test anything "in anger"...of course, I will upload video's as soon as I can once everything arrives and I have the chance to properly test what does/doesn't work. In the meantime, I appreciate the feedback 🙂

@@familymeeple Sorry, no offense, but I just don't think paper models stand up as well as plastic ones, after all you have to take the roof off a lot to move the zombies inside.

@@ShuishuoKa I'm currently working on a "wooden model" version of the same. This would obviously be more robust and last longer but design in a way out can still be "flat packed" to optimise on space (which is my number 1 priority). I'll be uploading a further video on this once complete. Out of interest, your previous comment about height and gameplay - is it specifically gameplay once the miniatures have entered the building? If so, I'm thinking two options: 1: design the building so, when the roof comes off, it also removes anything more than 1 floor of the building... Effectively leaving the "footprint" in place. Or... 2. Only use "flat roofs" and have this replicate the actual play area... In essence the characters and zombies continue their fight on the roof top. A little problematic thematically with the introduction of balconies but otherwise means you can leave the building permanently setup throughout gameplay with no need to be "messing" inside the walls, etc. Interested in your thoughts. ❤️

@@familymeeple I think different schemes have different advantages and disadvantages. The first method can maximize the viewing of the game, even if placed on the table, can also be viewed as a miniature scene! The second method makes the game more playable and easier to use. If you can design it like a Transformer, it will make traveling with the model easier and make playing easier! I've even made a mental image of it, and it's awesome!
