I love that Zoro is the first person to seriously call Luffy “King of the Pirates.” Zoro is the ultimate ride or die.

the fact that zoro is already calling luffy "king of the pirates", no questions asked - it just shows that zoro was on board from second 1 lol. luffy showed him that he wasnt afraid to die and zoro was immediately like "oh yeah this guy is gonna be king i can tell. imma go with him". all their communications are either idiot to idiot or genius to genius (usually in fights), i love their dynamic so much!!!

the scene with Zoro in the boat, vowing to never lose and then calling Luffy the pirate king, is my favorite Zoro moment in the show

I still absolutely love this whole interaction around the battle with Mihawk. You can also see how much Sanji was affected by Zoro's determination to live out his dream even if it is ridiculous

Usopp's braveness is unparalleled. Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji are monsters. Hall of the time, they are fighting equals or surpassing their opponents. But Usopp has no special powers. So every time he's on the battlefield, he might be wiped out in a second with a single blow. And he knows it, and he's terrified because of that, yet he finds a way to deal with his fears.

I like this fight in the Live Action but Damn. I miss Zoro's speech crying 😭 and Mihawk putting the energy telling zoro to surpass him. Also miss luffy trying to attack Mihawk like "You better not think you'll kill my friend in front of me and i wont do nothing"

As always, love your reaction! As your were talking about, it might be nice to increase the number you can have on your crew. For now, 1 captain, 4 mates, and 1 hated character is okay, but when we get to Wano Kuni with the hundreds of characters who show up, it will get really tough. Also, I feel like my top 5 barely changed in the last couple hundred episodes No perfect answer but a couple of suggestions. 1. As each Straw Hat has a different "role" (swordsman, cook, navigator, etc.) you could choose categories for your crew each session (best husbando/waifu, favorite character of last 10 episodes, MVP of 2 episodes you saw (like Haikyuu), favorite non-Straw Hat, favorite side character/character with little screen time, etc.) 2. As the number of Straw Hat crew increases, you can increase your crew also 3. A combination of 1 and 2, when the crew increases, you can add additional categories This might make your videos a bit longer, but I find I'm always curious to see if you have any crew member changes! Anyways, can't wait for you to continue to explore the wacky wonder world that Oda made!

You can add one or two more side characters to your crews as "crew guests" "crew trainees", who could be changed each episode

Luffy and Zoro are two sides of the same coin. Their mindsets are extremely similar, giving them a profound understanding of one another from the very beginning. This episode is an early showcase of this. The way Luffy wants Zoro to have his fight, the way Zoro adresses Luffy. There's also a key difference between Sanji and Zoro shown as early as this. Sanji asks why Zoro would put himself in a situation this dire and why he refuses to give up in order to live. Sanji asks why he wouldn't discard his dream in order to survive. But for Zoro (as well as Luffy), their dream is everything they are about, their sole purpose, their drive, their life. This is why Zoro is THE right hand man, the vice captain, why someone as strong as him would put himself under Luffy and why he's the best. (I love the scene of him saying "You need no less than the world's strongest swordsman, King of the pirates", where he acknowledges Luffy's desire and backs it as well as increases the pressure on his own dream, because now that's another person he has to become the strongest for)

Your crew should be a top 10. Manga Luffy says in early chapters that he wants at least 10 crewmates. Stick to Luffy's plan if you want. That way, you can have more of your favorites characters in your crew before suffering to put one on the bench ^^
