A good video showing most of the fake guitar inconsistencies. Apparently there are two more - the electrics in the screwed cover and the neck adjustment rod. Add these two and you will have the best fake Gibson video on KZfaq.

The master on this amp gets you power amp distortion at reduced volumes. Of course it distorts the fx loop return. If you want pristine reverb on top of a cranked plexi sound get a modeller.

I prefer the Victory. There's a little more, in that it sounds cleaner, more powerful, thicker in the lower mids, and maybe better bass. Maybe the Fender has a bit more definition, but not necessarily sounding better for it. I wonder if . As for what you were asking about how one can sound louder, the ear is much more sensitive to mid-range. So, amps like the Victory, and Marshalls say, tend to sound louder, than sparkly amps like the Deluxe. It's also I guess that loudness curve thing where something with more bass will tend to sound bigger, and so louder. And the Victory definitely has a lot more bass. But not too much, it's just when you go back to the V40, it sounds a bit anemic compared to V40.

Great tones. I found a workaround that makes the effects loop work quite well. Put a Lehle Parallel in the loop and adjust it's send and return to 11 and 10 o'clock, respectively. Then blend in your favourite delays and verbs with their kill dry on. Sounds fantastic. If you want to keep the loop as a series loop, just keep the parallel mix all the way to the left and run your effects as you normally would 👌

Pruebenlo

Just got the 22, and it sounds absolutely magnificent. Using a Maxon 808 in front to tight it up and give it s bit more hair when needed, but I feel it colors the sound a bit to much. Really keen to try out a Friedman Buxom Boost instead.

I tried it on mine and all the way up it was on 54 mV. It won’t go any higher. But at one point it shot up to 155mv very quickly so I turned off the app. It didn’t do that again. So I’m not sure what’s going on could it be that the tubes need to be replaced?

I had a Fulltone MDV-2, it sounded fine but was very noisy. I managed to get better Univibe sounds out of my EHX Ring Thing which was cheaper. I think that the Fulltone MDV series is more about hype and marketing than it is about quality.
@DogsharkGPS

Proper Optical Univibes based on the original are inherently noisy. If you’re happy with your ring thing, which is definitely nothing like a Univibe maybe it wasn’t real Univibe you wanted to hear.

The Dr Z attenuator is really a design by the late Ken Fischer called the airbrake. The layout is easy yo find on the internet. The parts are cheap , you can build one yourself. I recommend building this over an L Pad version. It is much more rugged. and can handle 100 watts easily.

I love it when I see some cheapy cheap guitar self-reliced, looking horrid due to the inability of the relic-ing party, and then tacking on a price that is 5 times the worth of the new guitar price. Then they leave it up for sale for months or years and never lower the price. Get a clue! Throw the damned thing away because nobody wants it.

I understand that you get used to the way an amp sounds especially if it's pretty much all you play, but what I'm hearing is the Victory sounding fuller and richer. The deluxe sounds thin compared to the Victory. Any doubts were confirmed when you threw drive at em. Victory by a mile. Trust me you're going to hear it when you get away from the deluxe for a couple days.
