put it though a 3 day work load and really show how crazy tuff Savotta bags are. and the contest is ez. load the pack with a few things and have people guess whats inside or the full weight of the bag. That way everyone can enter bc going out taking pic ect is hard bc alot of people work or have a family and they might not have the time to get out when you are doing the contest or have you know a phone or camera to take a good picture or live close to somewhere that would be photo winning. And then people cheat with ai ect. and use stuff you have use in ur videos so people gotta go watch a few to get an idea on what it may be or the weight. And have a keyword at the end of the video to put in the comment so its easy on you to the filter out the comments.

Please, everybody donate for Tim's tree project!!!!! ❤❤❤ I just donated 15 Euros! @Tim Thank you very much for your cool attitude and a warming heart. I bought a second Hatka for days out in the woods with my girlfriend. Equipped with the Keikka harness, 2x2 bags and elastic cord of course. Thus we can have dinner and coffee in the woods and sleep in our hammocks afterwards. This seems to be a better solution instead of carrying one of my bigger big Jääkäri M or L rucks. And I bought the Kukkaro purse. Made an EDC out of it. You influenced my buyings quite a lot. Many greetings, Stefan 🎉🎉🎉

Hey thanks for the nice and informative video, really enjoyed it! I think about getting the Kukkaro in the 1.5 L version, how is your experience in wearing it as a shoulder bag / chest pouch? I am not a big fan of hip bags so that would be a big selling point for me. Thank you in advance! Greetings from Germany!

The roofers could have cleaned up after them at least. Hope you get the mint under control and the trees sorted (somehow). Really enjoying your videos, very relaxing. Came for the kahakka 15l review, stayed for the hospice!

Thank you friend. And yes I would love to call the roofers back in and give them the task of cleaning up, but folks in this country don't like to raise issues too much. It's a holdover mentality from their days behind the Iron Curtain. Stay quiet and fix it yourself. The mentality is slowly disappearing with time but there are a lot of these kinds of issues that they are still dealing with to this day. It's incredibly sad to see people still afraid when the monster died a long time ago.

I've had this pack for years. Make sure to showcase the versatility of this pack by underpacking, overpacking, attaching side pockets and also the removable hip belt. Out of the entire Jääkäri lineup I'd say this is by far the most versatile one. Thanks for the great videos. Greetings from Finland.

Hi there, great video, as always ; ), very detailed! Any chance to get the name/brand or any further info about the bottles you use to "test" the side pockets? Anyway, I'm a great fan of Savotta and have many packs and pouches, these last products seem to be really great. I've just got the Askare and it's great for a day in the woods, it's an essential pack but with plenty of room for anything you need.

The Askare is my favorite Savotta item for sure, great choice there And the soap bottles are from the brand Sonett. Biodegradable, super high quality, and not expensive. I found them through Varusteleka, they recommend them for wool care but I recommend them for everything

You could use a simple webbing strap with 2 G-Hooks as a minimalist shoulder strap which avoid permanent buckles attached to the askare when not in use - and with that you could attach 1 G-Hook at the top and 1 on the side - so hip bag to shoulder bag to sling bag within seconds. At least that's how i use my Askare ;-)

Not gonna lie, I found this channel because I found r/Savotta and then found your post about the giveaway in top posts of all time and I just really badly wanted to signup for the giveaway as I've been eyeing for the Savotta backpacks but haven't been able to invest in one. So my input is that please make it such that it's possible to enter without pre-owning the Savotta stuff. But I fully understand that you want to give this away as a thank you to the community. And from that viewpoint I'd just get a list of people from YT subscribers (or better yet, people who have been commenting on your previous YT vids) or from Reddit posters in Savotta communities. And somehow get a cutoff in timeline there that you only include people before the giveaway posts to exclude people who got lured in only recently by your giveaway (like myself :)). So something like a simple "drop a comment to enter" but adding a condition that only people who have commented on your vids already earlier or posted in subreddits earlier are eligable to enter and you'd then manually verify that after the draw. That'd be how I'd do it if I was in your shoes.
@Tim_Keys

The barrier for entry will be very low, no one needs to own Savotta already or be subscribed. This will be open to any and all people

I would guess a random type of pull, where you get people to sign up to a list, that chooses a random person from the list. Pretty sure there are stuff online for this. Or you can set up brackets between everyone, and have a head of coin flip, and the typical "brackets" until there only are two people left.
@Tim_Keys
@Tim_Keys 7 күн бұрын
I was thinking brackets were the best idea, after some sort of verification process. Something fun, like someone suggested drawing a happy patch as the entry. Totally free, and if you can watch youtube you most likely also have an ability to take a photo and post it somewhere

Excellent! A part from the new gear please show it without the belt and the lid and as underpacked as possible, these are versatile bags. As for the contest, since the bag is a giveaway, I'd like to see a contest that would give Savotta something back (a part from your video), maybe even something they could use. Maybe information (some heavy users are following) or just extra exposure to their homepage (there's some interesting articles and catalogs). Someone already mentioned patches, I don't use them myself but a lot of people do, something related to those or catchphrases Savotta uses?

Well there's a new idea thank you :) But as for the Savotta love I have to play it carefully. For the first time I might actually have to write a script

Is there a verifiable way to make it a physical contest? Like a varusteleka remote military march kinda thing. Who can cover a certain distant by foot or something? It's definitely a tricky thing to think of! I think whatever it is it should be objective not subjective. Then again, you could do a good old fashioned lottery for it.

Awesome opportunity for someone to win a dream pack! Thank you for making that possible and fun at the same time. As for testing: I think your initial idea of showing the pack’s compatibility with other Savotta gear is great. Would allow others to see things “big picture” that way. Maybe you could show how to attach other non-Savotta gear as well just to highlight its diversity. I have to give your toddler credit for my next idea…. When you said “How the (heck) should I give this pack away?) I believe your baby audibly offered to help!😆 So, what if interested viewers entered the contest by posting a particular phrase (whatever phrase you choose). Then you can write the contestant’s user names down on slips of paper and have your baby pick the winner out of the hood of the pack. That would be uncomplicated, fun and Savotta focused…. Just like your channel. 👍
