A bit fast passed. I have to find something that the playback is slower. I slowed it down and it was too slow

Cool, so what was Plato's preferred political system?
@adrianokury2 күн бұрын
Ah, Tommy, a rather unremarkable king, whose significance seems inflated merely due to the happenstance preservation of an artifact not inherently tied to his reign. Much like Tutankhamen, whose fame largely stems from the excellent preservation of his tomb rather than his own achievements.

Ah, it's essentially a quid pro quo game, isn't it? The king's benevolence towards the clergy, all funded by the hard-earned coins of the taxpayers.

Hail to the Divine Marcus Antonius Theos Euergetes! Hail Marcus Antonius Neos Dionysos! Marc Antony is honestly someone for whom I need to sit down one day and really get to know more about. Dude had the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. I wish I had a tenth of His charisma. He was honored as divine at various points in His life and I gladly pay such homage to Him

Well said. :) Poonja which was one badass guru in India (before his followers consumed his legacy) was talking similarily about the art of living life. Meditation is not the goal. Mantra is not the goal. The goal is our own sanity and way to handle life circumstances. Gods mentioned in this speech are similar to the inner self that he embraced and also to social norms that surround us. He was saying for example that we should not look at the finger that points to the moon but at the moon itself. He said that noone is your true Guru, only your inner self is. And if you look closely, you do not find it! I like this correlation to greek philosophers. And the redundancy of mysticism and being part of a herd in some yoga group. Of course, our inner world, our soul and hunger for knowing why we are here leads us to philosophy or indian mysticism for answers, which we do not find useful, we gain only rubbish and confusion in long term. And nothing really helps in ongoing life. So it seems to me that the way of living life (art of living life) that Poonja was bragging about occasionally - as it is mentinoned in "The Truth is" book before he got too old and his house started to be occupied by nonsense followers that laugh to anything pointless as to highest wisdom, as youtube proofs, is kinda similar to the wisdom that greece had in their men of honour. I was always attracted by the wisdom. And now I live life like anyone else, going to my occupation for years day by day. Struggling with my neighbours, occasionally with coworkers, with my inner compass being lost and found again etc. So i really like when I listen to words of wisdom of some long time dead man to inform me again about what is worth of sticking to, and what is worthless. Thanks.

I Enjoyed the video, but what about the lower ocean levels during the YD. And the fact that tectonic plates do move up and down which could account for the sinking of Atlantis whereas you wouldn't find its remnants at the mountain tops of the Azores or canaries which are now islands but rather at the ocean floor which would have been its shoreline.

Every single thing applies to America in the modern day, which is why they need to appoint me as dictator of the US😂no way in hell i couldn’t do an infinitely better job than any US president since they’re all war criminals but especially Biden & trump since one has Alzheimer’s & the other is basically the soul of a special Ed kid trapped in an Elderly billionaire’s body
