you know, if you really wanted to more accurately emulate hamlet, you should've had him propose to sarabi

I’m glad they deleted some of these, they don’t have the same intimate feeling. I’d have liked to have seen a moment between Simba and Nala where he opens up about the experience of his father’s death and what happened just to get that fuller story arch. Saying that it really is a perfect film!

Love this film. Awesome acting from both. I have since learned that the Italian Mafia brought in illiterate Sicilian hitmen called "zips" to do jobs for them. They had no papers, no passport. So the character Leon was a "zip"

I mean, Mufasa’s song is actually kinda good and fun, but I think it doesn’t fit him indeed. I think his voice is on point and much better just talking imo, cuz this trait makes him more majestic so to speak

It's a treat to see how The Lion King is made! The part where Nala gets banished makes a lot of sense. Because I always wonder how she left Pride Rock. The scene also reminded me of Simba banishing Kovu in Lion King Two.

In the real great escape two Norwegians ( Per Bergsland and Jens Muller, both RAF) and a Dutchman (Bram van der Stok,RAF)) made it out....why they changed it to an Aussie and two Polish in the film is a mystery to me.
