It’s not Americans Fault, the education in the US is quite insular, your fed the narrative from day one this is your flag, worship it defend it and pretty much everyone else wants to take it, in reality Europeans wouldn’t want to live in the US as life in Europe is safer work life balance is far better Education its more diverse, US Education after high school dose have benefits Universities but that benefit is destroyed when you have to spend the rest of your life paying it off.

Nice one indeed Folks! I'm an Aussie and the Pacific Ocean does tend to insulate us from this sort of nonsense but I have come across it a bit. Recently I had to deal with a US lady on Facebook Messenger who had this US centered view of the world. She became so obnoxious that I told her "Some of you Americans have to be taught that there are other countries in the world!" Her response was "Really?. At that point I blocked her!

9:48 The funny thing about youtube in other languages is that you can use the same search bar to search videos in other languages, you don't even need to go to a different webpage, is pretty transparent if you simply use the search bar.

I play alot of computer games with Americans I routinely get stunned by the arrogance and ignorance of so many Americans. Although I'm also stunned by the arrogance, ignorance and stupidity of so many of my fellow Brits.

I find the thing that suprises Americans is that the war of independance was not seen as very important in England -it was just a side issue in the war against Napoleon - that's why the french funded USA and no doubt encouraged the rebellion in the first place.

German here: We tried to help you understand but america does not listen and instead says to us how we are, what we are, what we do and they use only sterotypes so we started to use the american sterotype wich is a worldwide known agreement... and we did not even talked about it behind americans back. Everyone in europe just knows this. Let that sink in. And the Fact that most People in Asia Nod in Silence confirms this.

US joined WW2 because Japan bombed Pearl Harbour and Germany declared war on them. It was touch and go that the US would actually go to war against Germany - that issue was solved because Germany made the decision for them

The narrator ignores the elephant in the room. Most of these towns have extremely high immigration. Bradford, for example, is only around 50% English. Most immigrants are South Asian.

The first design for a computer was made in 1822 by a man named Charles Babbage. Alan Turing who you're thinking of made computer science not computers. The first functional digital computer called ENIAC was made in 1945 and was the size of a room. It wasn't a single person but multiple people from various countries that contributed to making ENAIC. The first personal computer was Micral N made in 1973 by the French engineer François Gernelle.

What is it with Texans not knowing that English is from England? My British father was been the victim of the“You speak very good English!” line despite being from Britain, the birthplace of English, and that was a Texan, too. They said it in such a condescending way, too. But my dad got revenge by immediately saying, “Thank you. I only wish I say the same of your English.”

I was at home when it was announced, I'm the activities coordinator in a residential home for the elderly and I was actually making tributes and wreaths to put up around the home when the time came. I immediately stopped what I was doing and I sobbed, for the rest of the day, I sobbed. My manager messaged me because she knows I'm a Royalist. I carried on with my tributes the next day and opened a book of Condolences (which was then sent to Buckingham Palace after the official mourning period was over) the next day when I got to work but everything stopped after the announcement. On the day of the funeral. I was at work with my ladies and gentlemen and they helped me through that day.

Im from europe and history was literally taught as a timeline. Our primary school is 9 years long (american primary and middle together) and when you'd get history in like third grade youd start with prehistoric humans and move forward from there. My countries history was sprinkled in (we would learn what our people were doing at that time), but was more in depth in highschool, when we went over recent history in detail.

Taskmaster is a show where I saw an occasional clip and thought "...I don't get it. I mean it's a bit funny but not a ton." Then my friend had me watch a whole episode and it's SO much better in full context when you see how everyone handles the tasks and jokes about them! I love the show now but it took a while.

Dunning-Kruger effect. This is usually explained from the point of view of someone who knows very little but bare with me and I'll start from the person who does know his facts! Someone who is very well versed in a subject or situation, may think that the things he knows is also known by everyone else, therefore underestimating his own ability! The reverse of this is that someone who has little knowledge, over-estimates his abilities and believes that others are not so knowledgeable, or no-one else has this knowledge! I hope this helps....

Sorry America, you can have the war in the Pacific, but you didn't save Europe... you didn't even field a bigger army on D Day than Britain.. or southern Italy... Africa apart from one port had already been won by Montgomery and Russia was smashing the nazis on the East front. Sorry US, big help, but myth ro say you won it...Russia and UK had far more to do with it.
