@@UnitedKingdomPlays GDP per capita calculation works like this : Take the GDP of the entire country. 1) US GDP 1918 : 559 Billion 2) British Empire GDP 1918 : 554 Billion ( Adjusted for Inflation) Now, take the populations of the 2 states 1) US population 1918 : 103,208,000 2) British Empire population: 413,000,000 Now, you divide GDP by population 1) USA : 559 billion / 103 million = 5427$ GDP per capita 2) British Empire : 554 billion / 413 million = 1341 $ GDP per capita. And, as we can all tell, 5427 is significantly greater than 1341.

@@adenm8963 That's not how it works all the time at all, Look at the USA, they have a population of 331 million and have a GDP per capita of 80K+. That estimation system does not work for all countries.

@@adenm8963 Ohio has a population of 12 million and a gdp of 700 billion. Doing what you just said that would give Ohio a gdp per capita of 58k. Ohio’s actual gdp per capita is around 54k. And the larger the gdp and population get the larger that gap will be. The system you are using is clearly flawed and doesn’t always work.
